I can't believe how dead it is around here.

The Padre pushes open the door to the inn, looking for a nice filling bowl of stew, a flagon of ale, and some stimulating conversation, only to hear the crickets chirping, and a tumbleweed rolling across the floor.

He thinks to himself:
Whereabouts is the inn keeper? Where abouts are the great adventurers that once filled this great hall? Where are the dwarves and elves regaling their tales of many lifetimes spent on this earth?

"May the Gods breath some life into this fine establishment. Amen"

Winter Dulls...........

From behind the bar in the Red Dragon Inn Chat Room and Lounge the fuzzy werebear bartender heard the Inn door open and the voice of long missing adventurer chime through the halls.

"May the Gods breath some life into this fine establishment. Amen"

To that the Ody chimmed out," In here friend... Come warm yourself and share in the comfort of the Inn." The smiling bear stepped out from behind the bar and waved the visitor into the Lounge. The vaguely familiar figure casualy strolled in. "Fear not for quiet of the Inn..tis only the Winter Dulls. The adventures have gather at home and harth with family and friends and the younglings are concerned with new studies, but soon they will be drifting back." Drawing a frosty mug of Good Old Froth-n-Slosh...."I'll check you and help you settle, soon the Inn will be filling and lounge will be the place of Legendary tale, stories, poems and the forming of new parties." Sliding the mug to the visitor the bartender asked, "Do you want some finger sandwiches?"

A FACE!!!

"Well met my good bartender! and thank you for the ale. I would think that given it is the dead of winter there would be more people about. I know given the long dark nights I like to share a tale and song with friends." *Padre shrugs and takes a seat; Tossing a Platinum to the barkeep with a smile* "You mentioned finger sandwiches?"

Fresh Meat....

Snatching the gleeming coin from the air Odyson slapped it to the bar, "That is more than kind of you friend, concider you paid for all you care to enjoy this evening". Turning the galley serving window he beakoned out,"Igor... a plate of fresh figure sandwiches for our guest." From behind the wall came a mumbled response and the then the terrified shouts of the young dish washer. " No Igor... not those figures.. we need the lad to able to hold the dishes or they will never get clean.... make them from the cold cuts in the meat locker." Turning back to the guest, "sorry about that.. the poor fellow can be so literal at times."

...

"Not to worry friend. Not to worry. We all have that one (or more) person in our employ that... um... How did you put it? Take things too literal?" *clears his throat.* "So what word is there from the surrounding villages and countryside? Any trouble about?

It All Starts Here.............

The vistor inquired,"So what word is there from the surrounding villages and countryside? Any trouble about?"

Leaning in to the address his only patron,"Oh thing stay quit reasonable around the Inn.... its reputation of having such fine guests, from master fighter too highly skilled wizards the common riffraff stay clear. It would take a very bold character to defile the neutrality of the Inn.... We don't turn away any as long as they behave themselve while within these walls."

Glancing back to the galley, "Igor... what taking so long?"

Breaking character :/

I'm somewhat surprised at how dull the forums are. I see people pop in and out of the inn, but it seems that people only post on their games, if they post at all.

At least we can try and change the way things are.
