Assistance Appreciated

Seeing as I have just turned one year older, I figured it was time to do something about my absence.

I have been working on a role-playing game for the last few months that I really want to get out there to the world. It has gone through some changes during that time, going from one resolution system to another, but today I finished a playtest-worthy version in Word. Meager 30 thousand words, it is just shy of 90 pages long (mostly thanks to the table of contents).

What I need now is someone to assist me a little bit by reading over the draft and see if they find any obvious error or contradictions. I also need to know if I have managed to present the system in a way that can be understood.

I don't have many requirements. You don't have to be a role-playing games savant, although knowing the common terms (like d12 and GM) is a plus. The game is a roll-equal-or-under type using a d12, level based and there is room for customization.

If you are interested in reading this over for me, I would be very grateful. You can send me a PM and we can talk some more about it there.

Also, hello people, it's good to know I can swing by every now and then

Holy crap I was just thinking about you the other day. Good to see you, glad you're not dead.

Also I'd love to read it over, if you'll let me.

Character Sheet

I'm sure you're doing professional jobs, finding errors and whatnot, so I'm going to show you the character sheet I made and intend to use for the play test, pending possible changes if required.

Finally got a moment to crack into this hard.

48 pages down.

This is a long read.

But goddamn if it isn't a game I really want to play so far.

Yay

It is a long read indeed, so I've applauded you for your efforts

I'll be your huckleberry

I am not flushed with time but I am right now suffering from an ennui about D&D so maybe this will light my fire again.

Just thinking about that soft 'stache stroking the pages while he peruses it has made me remember why I joined this site.

I think?

Whee!

Alacrity to the rescue! He has replied with some great comments and fairly detailed notes (detailed enough for me anyway) so I am going ahead and implementing what changes need to be made. Hopefully, I can release the game for public play-testing soon

To the rest of you whom I sent a copy of the file to review, I would still like to read any comments you might have. Anything that could be beneficial for the game is still a welcome addition.
