Positions still available.

Ok, if you want to play a character, please show interest by telling me the race and class and giving me a little something about your character concept. Just remember that the characters are low level (2-4) so dont make them seem too worldly.

SilentOne, if you want the mage, just give me the info I mentioned above. You can post it here in the recruitment thread.

I will post something soon in the thread about character generation rules and some helpful info to assist in those who dont have alot of experience with 2nd ed. So watch for that.

So those that are serious about playing, post the info above here and then I will discuss generation of a character and assist where needed.

Thanks!

Character Generation.

Ok, when it comes to AD&D 2nd Edition, it is much simpler than 3.5 in my opinion. If you haven’t played 2nd ed, don’t worry, as the DM I will take care of the in-game rolls, and all the mundane things. After character generation, most of your job as players will be the writing and telling me what you are intending to do. Remember, that if you are in any combat situation, or wherever a roll might be needed because you are using a skill, then you have to post your intent and I will let you know if you are successful.

For those who don't have the AD&D 2nd ed, here is a link to the place where you can download the rulebook in pdf format.

AD&D 2nd edition Player's Handbook
Instead of rolling for your attributes (Str, Dex, etc.), I will use the points system, 86 points to spread among your attributes. Spend your points and then add or remove your racial modifiers just make sure to note where you had to add/sub. Only one 18 stat allowed, as you are all low levels, and nothing above 18 is allowed, even after you add racial modifiers.

I will let you know the level of your character, between 2-4, and then you will generate your character based on that and use Max HPs for those levels, plus Con bonus if any.

You will have standard weapons, that you are proficient in, and armor for your character along with standard gear. You put down what you want and I will let you know if it is approved or not. Make sure that your character sheets are NOT posted in the recruitment thread; PM it to me please.

Ok, that is enough to get started. If you have questions, let me know either here or by PM.

Here is a character sheet to fill out and PM me when you are complete:

Faern Foehammer, Khordaldrum Priest(Cleric) of Gamultindar (Kharox)

Faern Foehammer was the third son born to his family. Holding to ancient traditions, Faern was inducted into the clergy as soon as he reached the proper age. Working hard for the clergy, and wanting to bring honour to his family, Faern made his ways through the ranks, eventually falling into ranks of the Runemasters. For many years, Faern worked as a Runemaster to protect the secrets and knowledge of the Khordaldrum race. Devout to his family, race, and god, Faern was honoured when asked to help seek lost Khord artifacts in the Chakran Mountains. The day he left, his middle brother gifted him with a Warhammer fitted with the family seleta (Crest)on the face and adorned with the carving of a grand oak tree on the sides. His mother and father, the last to give their goodbyes, gifted him with a suit of Chainmail and matching, handsewn, vestements of Gamultindar. Vowing to complete his mission, Faern set out with high hopes and a steadfast heart, though he wouldn't admit he was uncomfortable with the thought of being around outsiders for too long.

Well this is the concept for my character, sorry for any inaccuracies as I am new to both 2ed and the Audalis setting so I did some research. Things can be changed if need be to make more sense but this is what I have come up with from my readings. tldr; Khord cleric of Kharox vowed to find and return dwarven artifacts

Positions currently filled

Ok.. looks like I currently have 4 players who are interested.

SirSadaar – Human Fighter (Lv 2)
SilentOne – Sylvari Mage (Lv 4)
Kamina - Khord Priest (Lv3)
Salvator Navaar – (Race?)Rogue (Lv 3)

Nice Intro Kamina, exactly what I am looking for on each character. Just a little something from each of you to give a flavor of your character.

Oh, this group is acquainted with each other, you have previously adventured once before briefly so you know one another. You will be meeting up at the beginning of the adventure to answer a summons from someone who the party has dealt with previously.

If you have questions about character generation let me know but most of what you need should be in the previous post above regarding generation but don’t be afraid to ask if you have questions.

Thanks!

EDIT: Oh wow, I feel perceptive now... lmao, sorry bout that bro. OK, it'll be done in a flash.

Look up

Salvator, if you look up at my last post prior to this one, you will see the characters listed next to the players, it lists the level of your characters.

If you have other questions let me know.

Oh, don't forget to send me your character sheet via PM, but please post your short intro in this thread. It doesn't have to be large, just look at some of the things the others have already posted.

Thanks!

The Heroic Henrich... Well, not really heroic....

Henrich Dazifick, known since his birth as Henny the Half Man, Was spawned and raised in the Capitol of Pardinal. Having never known his parents, the Cidal was raised and taught by a clever rogue since he can remember. Milo, the man had been called, had never been the type to lie to Henny, and never cast any illusion of fatherhood. The Cidal was a means to easy living for the aging human, who was far past his prime when it came to the seedy life in the alleys and roof tops. It had always been a simple arrangement. Henny, when he was old enough, and with the proper skill, stole where he could, and brought his findings back to Milo, who would fence the trinkets. In return, the Cidal, who stood out so much in this city of tall folk, always had a safe home to return to, and a meal on the table. A simple arrangement, until the day Milo got caught with a more-than-noticeable medallion that little Henny had filched from a drunk noble.

With Milo gone, dead or imprisoned, Henrich had little choice but to leave his casual living behind. He had no contacts of his own, and no good way to find them, for though he knew the words of thieves as well as anyone else, few would deal with so identifiable a creature. Thus, by pure chance, he had stumbled across a party of adventurers, their ranks made up of several races, rather than just one. And Henny had readily identified a thief in their midst. Whether a true companion, or a snake in waiting, the Cidal could think of no better way for himself to make a living. He had heard stories of great adventurers, and of the amazing treasures some had found, and it was then he decided, he was no longer a prowler of the alleys, A rat to scurry away when someone drew too near... He would be a rogue for hire, and he would live better than Milo ever did.... This, he promised himself, was a sure thing....

Amara, Sylvari Mage

Amara , a young sylvari who wanted nothing more than to learn the magi of the mages. However, learning of her brother’s stories, she decided she wanted her own adventures to return home to share. So thus lead her to leaving Poinsenna to follow her brother’s footsteps and see the wonders of the world. Never leaving her home, she’s very cautious and very quiet.
