Dropping Maps on yo' anus

As promised.

Quick legend for you.
Each square is the standard D&D 5' square.
Grey Squares = Buildings. The larger one in the centre is Isiah's hut, the small one to the north is the toolshed.
Brown Squares = Mud/Dirt. Well trod paths where the earth is visible.
Dark Green Squares = Flat grassland. Your normal variety "lawn".
Light Green Squares = Slanted grassland. A gradual hill, sloped down towards the east. Doesn't do much in impeding movement but is slightly harder to balance on. Each square is a 1' reduction in height.
Beige Squares = Wheat. Wheat fields, the crops are about 5-6 feet high, slightly impedes movement and vision.
Red Lines = Doors. Simple and wooden. Open both in and out.
Blue lines = Windows. Glass windows, provide wide cones of vision in their respective directions.

You are currently in the centre hut. Schell is roughly to your east along with several hundred more feet of footpath and wheat. Isiah's description of the riders has them coming roughly from the west. The north and south are wheat fields before entering grassland.

To the north and the south is more wheat for a distance

. The field just SE of the house would be a good vantage point to see and not be seen. The slope should provide some minimal high-ground advantage should it come
Has anyone looked inside the shed? Heck now that Isiah is gone a quick search of the house might be good too.

Edit: ir dum more thinking thoughts to come

Addendum

In case you've forgotten, a couple more pointers.

The hut is stone, the door is wooden, the roof is thatched.

The tool shed is wooden.

THE SUN IS A GIANT FLAMING BALL OF HEAT DEATH THAT IS THE CENTRE OF THE SOLAR SYSTEM AND EARTH ORBITS IT.

That last one doesn't actually truly apply due to this being a fantasy realm, but it stands to reason you should know that.

In this world, the sun should actually be the eye of some crazy god and should circle the earth, but we should all believe that it's a miasma of incandescent plasma that holds the planet it its orbit by means of something called a "gravitational pull."

In this world, the sun his my large bearded face crisscrossing the sky laughing at your failures.

IT LAUGHS BECAUSE IT CARES.

This is also not actually true.
Also I cannot believe crisscrossing is an actual word recognised by my browser's spellcheck.

Crisscrossing

Whoa it works.

Who wants to take the lead in posting?

First.

Guess I lied about last night. Too many things going on. I posted a question that's been on Calopee's mind. I know some of us didn't want to risk just letting them pass. But it's certainly what she'd do. The marauders going after a useless lot makes very little sense. If there's something on the land however, they could lead us there. Maybe...

Mal still needs to prepare his maneuvers, so if there is a chance before the enemy appears I will write a post about it. Otherwise he'll do them in the shed.

For the purpose of not needing 18 posts in this 1-hour of gametime span, once Nimu posts I would like to get the update rolling, and barring Nimu's post changing the progress of time in some manner, this will be when things start to heat up.

Currently the plan seems to be a quick search of the grounds before readying for the situation. If everyone could tell me what they'll be doing once the situation arises (such as what Chessic did in his OOC line) in this thread that would be perfect, as I'll assume the plan was discussed in Isiah's hut before the search was started. Time is short though. Game time that is.

Relos.

i have to leave for work now so I guess Relos will take 20 on trying to hide in the wheat on the west side of the southern dirt path. the little 6 squares of wheat. If the raiders spot him he'll approach them, if not he'll watch what they do and if they start to break or burn anything he'll approach.

also when everyone is searching the house and shed he'll keep an eye out to make sure no one breaks anything.

My actions.

I'll help search the house, and then hide in the wheat field.

I love wheat

After searching Sehanine will hide in the wheat field in the same general area as Tristan.

Will try and get an update up after I watch GoT. Depends how long it starts to get and how hungover I feel like being at work tomorrow.

Mal will be hiding in the tool shed. Do we have some sort of signal?

Signals.

Well. Calopee has a signal whistle, though that may be a bit abrupt. How about our signal is when the enemies scream, "What the hell, did I just get hit by a rock?"
