Introduction a La Axiomatic

Hello, all 1 of you, including myself.

I just signed on to this site today, and I must say it looks very different from other RP sites and Gaming sites I've been on. I do have to admit, this is the first one that focused on tabletop game features in it, which would be why I joined.

Anyways

Is this feeling of being in a dessert, watching a tumbleweed roll past, a normal thing for this site? I'd rather hope not- I was hoping to do some DMing and playing here.... I really hope it's just the time of day.

We be here

Depends on what time of day you come here but we are still here. I'm Alacrity and I am one of the admins here at the Inn. Let me say welcome to the RDI and pull up a chair.

We have a number of games going here and always looking for more. I run a couple of Serenity/Firefly RPG games and a 2e D&D game. Tann'Talas runs a 2e game called Trilogy War. The are some others going as well so please look around.

The Webmaster Is Tcatt11 otherwise know as Olan.

Let me know if you need anything.

Hey Axio, welcome to the inn!

What you see here is a rather ordinary day at the inn, but I don't think of it as a ghost town. It is more like the internet was in the early days, when the forums were wild and free. It's slower than reddit, but I see that as a good thing.

Anyway, we're always happy to have a new member! Hope you enjoy your stay.

Yes, We Really Are Here........

Hello......... Thought I'd pop in here and add the Ody welcome.

A really good place to start here is “Pit F(r)iend's epic guide to getting started for newbies.” That will help you figure out how to navigate the halls of the in.

To meet folk in real time pop into the DragonChat where I act as current resident bar tender. We offer our very own "Good Old Froth-n-Slosh", the stale pale ale with the foam on the bottom.

Just grab a mug off the mantel and draw a cold frosty one.

My assistant Igor is usually lurking around if I'm not there.

He never says anything, must have something to with having his tongue cut out by his last boss, that nasty bar tender over at the Orc Bar & Grill.

Anyway the Posting Games are great place to get to know folks and of course the DragonChat is our favorite lounge.

So lurk, chat, read and soon you'll at play. give it some time and soon it will feel natural.

So welcome to the Inn

Welcome!

Hey, welcome to the inn!

I don't think that there's too much I can add that hasn't already been touched upon. The Inn generally is busier in the afternoons from what I've seen. That seems to be the only time people of multiple time zones are able to be together.

Also, we over at the Dark Side are pleased to announce that we have one of the finest selections of cookies known to man, elf, or dwarf. Feel free to take one.

Ice Breaking

Thanks for all the welcoming and advice. I've already found my way to the App stuff, and the dice app is the best.

I'll be sure to read the Epic Newbie's guide, for sure!
