Didn't you warn us that we were going to have trouble?

I like trouble...

...especially when I can escape it relatively unscathed. Who needs a complete set of ten fingers or two whole ears, anyway?

hanging bodies

The hanging elven hunters are definitely dressed and armoured like the elven hunters that went with Galen. However they are about 70 feet upwards above the bridge and chasm so even with infravison - you really can't see much detail. If you want to have a closer look you need to fly or levitate or toss the Dwarf.

crud

I could so toss the dwarf.

The fact that the arms are crossed *is* rather odd. Again, I'm probably just being paranoid, but it's bugging me.

Did we get anything from detect magic on the bodies?

Arien can levitate at will. I wonder if it's worth investigating, or if this is just the DM screwing with our heads.

Honouring the dead?

You could levitate up, cut them down and talk about honouring the dead or some such.

Well...

...in some respects, that's what my last little fluff post was all about, I guess... (not tossing the dwarf, mind you)...

Those hunters are grey elves and, given that both Jarenion and Lun are of that same race, they'd be somewhat inclined to want to do something about the affront that is the display of their countrymen in such a manner... Of course, given their mission (not to mention the possibility that taking the time to levitate/fly up there, loose the corpses, and inter them properly - assuming they weren't trapped and we even got them down to begin with) doing so would likely not bode well for either the party or Galen and whatever remained of his troupe... *shrug* Hence the mage asking Lun for a quick (non-magical) prayer before we move on.

You know... fluff.

Green, iridescent rocks?!?!

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!! Anything but the ROOOOOCKKS!!!

Edit: Damn... now I'm wondering about what the implications of casting a souped up version of turn boulder to pebble on the cavern might be... Let's move this along before the mage does something stupid, shall we?

but seriously folks

Really it is up to you but someone mentioned true seeing and he has yet to be very very very specific at what he is looking at like I asked.

Well...

...I'm certainly curious as to why their arms are crossed like they are... aaaand J's got full hit points and there are no Thri-kreen buzzing about... soooo, the mage could be convinced to levitate/fly up along with Sir Thedell... but, if the consensus says "leave the bodies where they are," I'm not about to argue, either.
