An Apology to all DM's Innmates, and the Inn

Over my years here at the Inn I have through my sense of humor, immaturity, and total disregard for the outcome of my words made disparaging remarks in open forum publicly disrespecting a number of DM's, their games, Innmates and the Inn itself. Though mostly that was never the intent, I have inadvertently and yes at times knowingly, done this consistently even after being told time and time again to grow up and stop acting like a 10 year old.

Taking the friendships so freely given on the Inn and in real life for granted has always been my curse as what I think is joking is in truth to most of you degrading and disrespectful. However even knowing this I still seem to end up doing it over and over again and then wonder why those friendships end.. Those of you both friend and former friend who know me well can agree to that I have no doubt.

I have been protected here at the Inn from being totally banned by a few staff members for reasons only they can comprehend. I'm grateful for that even though I have pushed that to the limit and have in the course of it lost their respect even if they still call me friend both on the Inn and outside of it.

I post this not as a discussion topic asking to be forgiven or to gain anyone's sympathy I do not want either. I do not want reply's and ask you all to refrain from posting such as my past actions and posts speak for themselves and I have deserved every punishment or reprimand I have gotten. I do this not to cause drama or unrest but as a sincere apology to those I have hurt with my words and to the spirit of the Inn and what it represents.

I am lucky to be here, to be in the games I play in, and to be allowed to DM the game I love and that is something very special. This too I have taken for granted and not as the gift it is and it has cost me much. The Inn is one of a kind and it too deserves my respect and though I will not make a promise I may not keep, I will try to give it and all its Innmates the respect you all deserve.

Again I'm sorry.
