RIP Prince

I just heard that Prince passed away. I am deeply saddened by this news. I really loved him growing up and still do.

He was a very esoteric artist. He will be missed.

Sad news, indeed.

Prince was one of the very few artists that I would, without hesitation, call a true musical genius. So much more than just a fantastic musician, singer, and songwriter. His music had depth and meaning enough for it to have transcended not only the various "chart genres" but, also, race, age, etc.

Plus he was more than a little weird and I LOVED it!

Good night, sweet Prince. You will be missed.
