Alacrity to have surgery

FYI - Alacrity had a bike accident Monday, he hit a pot hole and was flipped over the handle bars. He broke his left arm in two places, bad enough to need surgery. He has a lot of scrapes and bruises and looks to get in surgery sometime later today. (Weds)

Please send out your care and hope for a successful operation to one of the Inn's best Staff members and DM's. We are pushing for you my friend......

That hurts

Having gone arse over teakettle on a bike myself, I can say it can hurt quite a bit, even when you don't break your arm.

Wishing you the best Alacrity!

Surgery completed

Per Vanadia, Alacrity's wife, the surgery went very well and he is into the recovery/ healing phase. So continue to keep him in your thoughts and hearts that he makes a quick recovery.

Progress Report

So I had my follow up about arm. No cast. Time to move to Physio. Some concern about my thumb and forefinger being weak but it could take two months to get full movement back. The joint looks good on X-ray.
