while i may not have been around for as many years as some of you. I fondly remember spending nights after high school days sitting in chat chatting or just lurking and doing other things on my computer during those nights (I was a loner in high school with only a few close friends) that I would just sit in my room and write poem after poem... 

.. I miss those days where Chat was always full.. 

Holy moly, been six years since I was active here (I mean I did pop back in 2014 but it was brief), however I haven't ever forgotten this place. Back in the day when I was living in the middle of nowhere (as such without gaming buddies), and was only just getting my RP legs as GM and player, and was just finishing college (not university, aye), here was where I got my fix.

Now I'm married, have got a job and a cat, organise a monthly 150 player LARP but haven't played a tabletop game in about two years. Funny that the email should come a day after I came across one of my players from three years ago. it's been a week of reminiscence.

Having been a member for around ten years meself, I can look back and fondly remember a typical session at the Inn consisting of posting in 3-4 games I was active in, then making the rounds of maybe a dozen of the little word/short/fun games in the round that stayed jumping every day, then perusing the side threads to discuss various shows/fandoms and such. I met my best real-life friend here in trusty Eol, I made a slew of good online friends, admittedly lost one or two along the way due to falling out, and to the rigors of life itself (RIP YeOlde, my friend). Overall, the Inn has been a great place to me. I look forward to trying to help breathe some new life back into it. Now, I have received my facelick and wiped down, forth to the Froth 'n Slosh!

I did not realize it had been more than 10 years since I originally joined... 

I still poke back now and again, especially to check out old posts from my favourite games.

I swear Kingmaker is still technically running, even as my efforts are currently focused on playtesting Pathfinder 2 on roll20

While I’m not a member of the Golden Age of the Inn, the email did get my attention and make me think of this place again.  Glad to o see it’s still going and who knows, I may come back to play. 🤪

There are plenty of fixtures here, no doubt!  Perhaps some of them wil truly be making a comeback?
