so...

I've had one good, hard bite from Facebook.  This player is interested in knowing what they need to read up on in terms of world building and such to ensure that they make a good character concept.  You may recognize this is as a SUPERB attitude to have.

I don't know if they will work out of not, but it's good to have a possibility.

I strongly recomment that we look at adding a rogue character; beond that, I think that a second arcane caster, or perhaps a fighter/mage type, would be ideal.

But I'm not going to force people to play things that they don't want to play.

I second, Eol's sentiment.

Is there anything we need to do to prepare our characters?

Nothong to do right at this very moment.

I haven't decided yet what the character level will be.  4th level will be the minimum.  Can I justify enough unwritten side adventures to bump you guys to 5th level (which is honestly the power level I'd like the next adventure to be at)?

We ARE doing several months of gap.  So... maybe?

Refresh my memory...

...would a boost to lvl 5 be enough to add another NWP? Not that it's truly important, I suppose, just wondering if, by that time, Ch'dau would have the slots to add "weasponsmithing" or, instad, would it still be something that he's working toward?

Ha! Never mind... found my answer... it'd still be a work in progress. Gotta get to lvl 6 before adding a slot.

NWPs

Hey bree, will you open the complete D&D rules there at work and check the proficiency rules for me, pleaese?

Warriors don't get another full NWP until level 6.  We can work it in, however.

I . . . I don't . . . .

*looking up from spellbook compendium* I'm not a part of this. Don't make me a part of this.

I was just teasing you about pulling up the pixellated nipples from the cover of the book at work.

No worries...

...as I said, I don't believe that it's terribly important to the game that the slot be there and filled, really... I doubt that there will really be much call for it as we go hunting for Kith and Bae-vena.

Plus, I have enough "backstory" in the works to hint that it's coming so, while he's not 100% proficient, he's worked on it a bit.

@ pixellated nipples. Pixpples!!!

siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh

They were not pixilated enough.

Just so you guys know, if Olan shares a book for with you while you're at work, PLEASE be sure to confirm whether or not there will be nude bits on the cover.

Sometimes there are and Olan will not warn you.

P.S. SO happy Bae-vena has stuck. I'm sure Davey will love it.

lol

I have my own office, so it's no big deal to just page down past that cover illustration.  It just didn't occur to me!  To this day, I wonder why the composer of that PDF decided to put that picture there.

Though I do admit, it does create a temptation now to Rickroll bree with gifs of nipply Vallejo-style fantasy women.

Another benefit of working from home...

...is not having to worry too much about shoulder surfers!

That said, when Olan sent me that PDF, I did work in a cube farm and the first time I opened it I was just like  "Helllooooo ladies!" *Page Down*

Aahhhh, good times!

I panicked because my screen wasn't scrolling fast enough and wasn't clicking away.

Honestly, if we didn't just rearrange everything so that my cube is the first thing everyone sees and walks by when they show up, it would be fine. Send me all your nipply books. WHATEVER.

But alas, I'm being watched every second of every day lol it truly was the first time I almost ACTUALLY leapt on my computer.
