>Send me all your nipply books. WHATEVER.

Y'all all saw this quote.

Re: Nipply books: that was in the hypothetical world in which I do not work in a fish bowl. ALSO, it was a joke . . . please do not send me your nipply books. Also, I listen to a true crime podcast (well like, 10 of them) and there have been things very similar to a nipply book in a few of them. People, man, they cray.

Re: leaping: I leaned ALL the way forward, so no one could see as I slammed the close window button.

I worked for a call center once a very, very long time ago. My computer was running slow (this was back when you often ran out of storage space on the computers) and since I shared the computer with two other shifts of people, I thought it was time to start clearing things out. Only, I didn't want to just willy-nilly delete things. So, in-between my calls, I was going through files and found one I didn't recognize. Double-clicked it and my screen started filling with new browser windows, each one a different porn site with full-on explicit images front and center. This was pop-a-mole style bombardment. I could close them fast enough. They just kept popping up. And then my boss walked right up behind me. Luckily, we were able to prove I had nothing to do with it because of the timestamp of the file, etc. but I was legit freaking out.

On another note, that same boss once stepped out of his office and called out to the call center for everyone to go to whitehouse.com as there was an important announcement from the feds. DON'T go to whitehouse.com. That's a porn site. Whitehouse.gov is the correct site. The whole call center was panicking as people started freaking out.

The New Year approaches...

...and "after the New Year" isn't far behind, I imagine!

*rubs paws together in building anticipation*

Let's travel to exotic, far off lands; meet new and interesting people... and KILL them!!!

Marine Corps math also confirms this.

hah

@ Marine Corps math.

Yep, we have crossed through the holidays, and I'm back at regular work this week.  I'm going to refresh my recruitment stuff elsewhere.  If any of you know of another potential hunk of dynamite to play with us, invite away!

Hunks of dynamite

I've reached out to Celeste and Finn in regards to this. No guarantees, of course, as they both seem to be busy in other areas of their lives, but, when I think of dynamite players, these two both come to mind.

Got a couple of other folks I might try to convince to, at least, give us a look, as well. We'll see what comes of it.

Hey, guys, I'm wondering if it's not too late to join in?
I apologise for not asking to join right away when it was first restarted before Christmas. It's alright if you have enough players and it's too late for me to join.

There's still an opening (maybe two) available...

...per the first post in this thread: "The party is pretty balanced as is; I see a need for a rogue, but another caster would be welcomed.  A warrior type could work with the right story."

If you want in, give some thought to the classes above - (I'll re-stress that we really could use a rogue as our last one got brainwashed, abducted, and forced to carry and undead baby) - then come up with a concept and possibly something of a backstory for your proposed character and PM it to t_catt11.

Also note that we've got a pretty writing intensive group, here, and, in most cases, posts are expected to be a good two or three paragraphs in length (some of us get quite a bit more wordy, though) and the DM is looking for at least one post maybe even two per week.

yep

What Eol said.

I am quite happyto roll with the game as is.  I have five reallty outstanding players, and I selfishly want to see any potential additions rise to a similar level of writing skill.

Also, I need a character concept that really works well for the game.  So if you're interested, please read the first post where I detail what I'm looking for.

*Dons a disguise.*

I present to you, Markhos Deylavis. Bard, poet, storyteller, and historian. "I promise not to attempt to seduce everything."

*Ducks behind the curtain and quickly removes disguise.*

"Whoa!" Gib exclaims. "A bard is interested in our story? I say we bring him along."
