Varuna Casan - Priest of Lysora

(Ok so I came up with the brief history and description below. Hope everything is ok. Will have character sheet tomorrow hopefully. )

Varuna Casan is a half breed, half human/half elf, who was abandoned on the steps of a temple of Lysora in Coria when only days old. A note was attached to his clothes explaining that his mother couldn’t keep him because of prejudices in her village against elves and asking the Priests of the Sacred Mother to care and protect the boy.

The priests of Audalis’s Goddess of Healing didn’t care if the boy was of mixed descent and raised him and taught him their ways and when he became old enough to chose, he prayed for days and finally was granted a vision of the Goddess and was therefore accepted into the Reverent Lady of Spirit’s service.

He was a young priest when he left the temple and began his journey into life, spreading the word of the Sacred Mother‘s benevolence and compassion. He travels now seeking to heal and help those less fortunate and to spread the word of his Goddesses great power.

Varuna can often be found in poor areas, or in places where battles have been fought, helping those who are injured or displaced from their homes. He asks for nothing in return, those most give what they can in goods, he accepts only enough to sustain his life and carry on with his mission.

Now 23 years of age, a mere youngling for his race, he appears as an average height human looking man whose mixed heritage can only be ascertained when his slightly pointed ears protrude from beneath his shoulder length brown hair. His dress is common for one of Lysora’s followers, leather breeches and studded leather armor covered with a white, worn, knee-length robe with light blue trim sporting a thornless rose embroidered upon its chest. A large brown floppy type hat adorns his head, beneath which resides a somewhat handsome and gentile face with deep set green eyes. A large ball mace hangs from a leather belt with several belt pouches which hold the tools of his trade.

Valendara Isilifeline

Valendara Isilifeline is diminutive even for an elf. Her features are classically elven, fragile looking, pale skinned but peach cheeked with huge pansy violet eyes. Her glossy black tresses wave and curl down her back, so long she can sit on it. It is often braided back from her face and worn with a thin metal fillet adorned with a large black opal the sits on her forehead. She smiles a quick, genuine and ready to breakout from her sometimes serious demeanor. Life is a great joy for her.

Val pursues her interests vigorously and deeply. She loves magic, leanring about magic and using magic, absorbing it like a sponge. She loves visual arts and sculpture, music and her favorite activities are dancing, singing and riding and her favorite craft is embroidery. She is the autumn daughter of her house, born late in her parents' lives, though she was well loved and cosseted by her parents, grandparents, and older siblings. The eldest is her sister Danawyn, who became a cleric to The Lord of Light, and her brother Aerdon who is a wizard in his own right. Aerdon always called her his pocket sprite.

Seeped in magic all her life Val took to is as a gosling takes to water. Her parents had hopes she would remain at home studying magic but Val's love of life is drawing her out into the world. After all isn't a 100 years at home enough. As soon as she was declared an adult she uncovered all her carefully prepared plans for setting out into the world. First visiting all the Elven nations and on the way seeing the world around them.

Val wear well tailored, tunic and soft pants of fine materials, she loves silks, and smooth fine leathers. Normally she wears soft leather pants and high soft boots, silk shirts, and fine embroidered leather vest that matches or harmonizes with her pants, and a fine woolen cloak trimmed with embroidery and lines in silk. Mostly her clothes are in grays, shades of lavender to purple and rich dark greens. For traveling her outfit is a soft lavender gray leather pants and vest with shades of lavender to purple, and dark green embroidery. Her shirt is a dark purple silk, open at the neck. She carries a fine dagger at her hip and a smaller one in her boot-- a gift from her brother. Most of her belongs are packed carefully in the saddle bags on her horse, a few are placed about her person. She plays down her feminine attributes when traveling. Her brother told her it was wiser when traveling especially if she was by herself.

free pass?

The gate guards are not gonna let anyone in for free. I did, however, go back and edit my post... I had left somethign unclear. The rate exchange fee is 2 additional coins for the party, not per person.

People will post. This game won't be as fast as some - 1-2 posts per week requirement, y'know.

Olan what is the character make-up of the party and who is playing what. I can't seem to find the page where you had it before. Also are you going to do up a Character Thread or no??
I think this was asked before but not sure now.

ANother idea

Another idea, what about a Coo Sidhe (pronounced coo shee) for a companion animal. and a Farie Dragon as a familiar

huh?

You already asked me about both of these in PMs, and I already responded. No Coo shee. Familiars from standard table only.

Delay in a fresh post

I have had an absolutely pissy day and am in the wrong mood for posting an even tempered, disciplined fighter/diplomat...more likley to knife the first person who says "boo" right now, lol

Will try for something tonight or on the morrow.

noted!

I will not say "boo". I will not say "boo".

Jozan is dropping this game, so I am simply editing him out of the posts. We'll play with four characters.
