Hey

Wondering if you're still looking for a couple more, I'm new to the Dragonforums, but not to play by post gaming. If you got room for one more, I'll come along, played one Eberron game a while ago and now I want to go back.

hmm..

I need a noble house in Sharn now that I see how Nel's being made. She's a very social character, alot of Charisma based skills, contacts, information mongering lol, and since she's related to nobility (perhaps a dragonmarked house since this is Eberron) she uses that to her advantage.

grrrr

I would love to be a part of this game, for Eberron is cool, and so far you've attracted great players, Skari. Unfortunately I don't have the time really.

But I'll be peeking Good luck controling these animals... ehm... players.

*slobbers than tries to lick Almerin*

Animals? What an excellent idea.

I was reading up on Eberron again last night, and I've decided I won't be bringing my bard in.

Instead, Im thinking a druid. Yes, that will do.

Maybe Nel and Discq qill be reunited somewhere else. Sorry.

things...

Ayrn, this is a workable solution. If I'd know what kind of character you had in mind it would be even more workable, as in I'd have a better idea about how I could unite you with the rest of the group.

Tri, yes there is room and you are more than welcome to fill that space. Welcome to the Red Dragon Inn by the way

Grugg, a bard would fit perfectly within Sharn, but then again a druid fits no less. There is no doubt couple of tower who include massive trees near the top, bottom, around or inside.

Kaelyn, you are of course more than welcome to play a member of a certain House. Might I suggest a feat called Favored of House if you want to use the House's connections and stuff? I think the Elves had the rougish Dragonmark, but I could be mistaken. Just remember the d' prefix before the House name and all is good

Races and levels and such

Gots me another question or two:

You are allowing all the races from the various "Races..." series? Can they have a level adjustment?

Also, will this be a one shot adventure, or are you planning us a campaign?

Grugg, what race are you looking at for your druid?
Kaelyn, what race is Nels again? Human, yes?

At the time Im thinking Half-Elf.

Gorram you're right...Sharn is a good place for a bard too.

Im either:
Half-Elf Druid
Human Bard

I'm going to plot them out and see who I likes better.

Look at me and my questions...

Hey, I noticed that you don't have anything regarding how we ought to generate our Ability scores. (maybe I missed it)

personally... I like a set number (somewhere between 85 - 90 points, is what I like). The elite set would be fine... but is a bit restrictive. Besides, I like the characters a bit more higher powered.

I find with the random rolled stats you get players with scores all over the map (from 76 pnts to 90-some pnts).

Anyway...just my thoughts... curious what yours are! (mostly, yours, SD!)

Races

Races taken from the various Races of... books have the same level adjustment as they appear to have in the book they appear in. A character of a race with +1 level adjustment starts with only 3 class levels. You can also have a monster race from any Monster Manual. You could play a Drow with only 2 class levels since the Drow have +2 level adjustment.

I haven't given it a lot of thought if I'll make this a one shot or a campaign, but a campaign looks very much appealing. For now, assume that it will be a one shot with the possibility for a sequel.

You roll for your stats. Either that or you have the set numbers 15, 14, 13, 12, 10 and 8. There will be no point-for-stat system. It just annoys me.

Nel, is

Nel is human Ayrn, beautiful, seductive, charismatic and politically informed her strengths lie more in manipulation than straight out fighting.

I was looking into the Feat Noble Birth: but it looks like Favoured in House might work too.

I'm almost positive Nel will be a member of house Deneith

which will in turn make her part of the Blademarks or possibly even a hidden Sentinel, thatwouldhelp account for the Mercenary team we've had for the past while.

Poisons:

I've got the Poisonmakers guide in hardcover, as well as pretty much anything you can find in a sourcebook compiled (I've a thing for poison i dunno why) So anything you're unfamiliar with I'll try to put both the effects/ cost and reference it came from when I make attempts to craft it during the adventure / campaign to come.
