The Sarcasm Game

I love it when I get to sit in long meetings discussing when we should schedule the next meeting so that we can talk about determining a timeframe for when things should be done.

mmhmm, i heard dat

I LOVE it when the "WHOoooever" decides that there will be one, and only one building in the entire country in which you can get an affidavit legalized--which only takes 30 seconds to do, but they expect you to drive to this building, even if you live hours away. And you're only allowed to come in extremely EARLY in the morning! It makes me feel warm inside to waste a tank of gas for 30 seconds of 'sign the paper time'. Twice, even.

Ooh, looks like fun

I am a big fan of having buses hit me in the face.

The sarcasm is subtle folks, very subtle.

time

Isn't it great that when you have some free time that you have SO many things that you want to do, that by the time you figured out which you feel the most like, the time is over?
Or if the time is not over, and you get the time to do something, you're still left with an emptiness because you couldn't do everything you wanted.
Why don't we have two heads and four arms? Why can't we all be siamese twins with one cortex?

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

oh oh oh!

I love it when I try to log into my email, but it says wrong ID or pass and I KNOW FOR FACT that it's right. I especially enjoy when I log onto a different part of the exact same server with the exact same name and pass, and it works, then try to redirect myself back to my email via that page... and it says wrong ID or pass.

Technology rocks!

About time

Finnaly someone started a "whining" thread. You have no idea how long I have been waiting for this. Noone at work ever complains so I am anxious to see how it works.

a nice, universal one...

I love morning rush hour traffic. I find it to be an interesting study of human nature to try to decipher why exactly it is that high volume forces people to a COMPLETE STOP on the interstate when there is no accident - and the speed limit is 70 miles per hour.

Clearly, the simple fact that many people are using the road at the same time dictates that people should reduce their speed to nothingness.

asdfsdf

I for one, am an enormous fan of having the neighbour's cat fighting birds and leaving their corpses on my doorstep as some sort of bizarre trophy cabinet.

timelines

I love it when poeple set up a definitive timeline for a project, then go all go on vacation without handing in any of their assignments. It makes my job so much easier!

in a hurry?

I love to wait behind someone in line at the store whom has a cart load of items and gets into an arguement that one is supposed to be on sale but isn't, and you have to wait a long time. When most people, seeing that you are holding a one dollar bill, and paying for only one item, would have had the courtsy to let you go ahead of them.

uh huh

Olan, Almerin and I wonder about the weird traffic jamming also, very often. 70 mph speed limit, no accident, no road block...so what's the problem??! Happens here constantly, it's great!

but anyway..

I love how i procrastinate and dig my own grave lately.

a geeky one...

I love it when we set up a production instance of a program, then the consultant comes in and does many hours of work on a copy of said program, all the while letting our staff work on the production copy... and then, people wonder why discrepencies start cropping up!

yea

I love it when i have to settle for uber expensive jeans, and then after i get home and wear them for 10 minutes, they suck and I need to take them back. I love it even more, when we have to drive all the way to Amsterdam (over an hour) to take them back (and we pay for parking), and then the store is closed for 2 weeks for 'summer vacation'. They better take them back!!

Political Swine (I mean whine)

I love it when our bridges are collapsing in this great nation of ours, an estimated $200bn (per MSNBC) is needed to make them safe - and Condileeza Rice just signs over $80m to Palestine to help them get their act together.

I love it when these high profile celebrities, like George Clooney, Nicole Kidman, Angela Jolie et. al., make a big fuss about going over to Africa to adopt poor children and ignoring all the starving poor orphans in their own country.

I love it when we are losing people every day to a war no one wanted and were hoodwinked into getting into and all the reports on the news focuses merely on Paris Hilton's jail time and Whoopi Goldberg becoming the new "moderator" for "the View".
