negative?

Anyone who has something negative to say about something so personal would be yanked from the site.

Thank you for sharing.

No problem?

I enjoy sharing my writing, I just don't want to offend anyone with my poems because some of them I admit are offensive, but I try to screen them through a Mod of the site before posting anything..

Dear Sir

like the one before it, this poem is very personal and about a friend, please.. keep rude comments to yourself. Not everyone wants to hear them.
-Silent

Dear Sir
The smell of you lingers, long
After you’ve fled..
The pain of the wounds you
Inflict, can never be healed..

Are you happy, dear sir, at
What you have caused? Are
You happy, dear one, at the
Pain you have dealt?

Will you give them back? Will
You give up your glee at keeping
Them from us?

Will you feel no remorse, for the
Pain you inflict? Will you feel no
Hatred deep in your heart, at the
Lives you have broken?

Are you happy, dear sir, at
What you have done? Are
You happy, dear one, at the
Lives you have destroyed?

Will you begin again at a moments
Notice? Will you take another, from
Us too soon?

Will you allow us one day, to say
The things that were left unsaid?
Would you stay heartless and ignore
The cries?

Are you happy, Dear Sir, for
Being so heartless and cruel?
Are you happy, Dear one, at
The heart you have broken?

Give them back Dear sir! I beg
Of you.. to return those you have
Taken!

Return them to us, Dear Sir, for
They left too soon and things have
Been left unspoken!

Are you happy, Dear Sir, at the
Job you can’t escape? Are you
Happy, Dear one, for what you
Have done?

Please, Dear Sir, allow life to
Return to them.. those you’ve
Stolen!
Please Dear Sir, have a
Heart for a moment, undo
Those you’ve harmed and
Return them to us!

Give pause for a moment,
Dear sir, to rethink what
You have done!

Are you happy dear sir,
For crushing us?

Can you answer a question,
Dear Sir.. just one that’s all
I ask for.

Why him, did you embrace and
Take with you without a second
Glance? Why did you pick him,
To enter your endless road?

Can you answer those for me,
Dear Sir.. that is all I am looking
For..

Dear Sir, I wish you to answer,
And answer swiftly.. my anger
Has not risen, Please Dear Sir,
I beg of you..

Return him to us! He doesn’t
Belong to you!

Why would you take him, and
Leave those who hate life?

Did you make him suffer Dear
Sir, or was it peaceful for him?

You won’t return them, will you?
He is unreachable now..

Take care of him, Dear Death,
He was a valued partner, a
Treasured Son..

Keep him safe, Sir Death, for
Who you hold in your embrace,
Is an important man.

I beg of you Sir Death, if at all
Possible, let him have felt no
Pain when you swooped in and
Stole him from us.

Sir Death, are you listening to
The cries of sorrow you have
Caused? Are you listening to
The lives you have broken!

Sir Death! Why the hell would
You take someone like him!

Sir Death, I hate you for who
You have taken..

Return him to me! Dear Death,
I beg of you.. Return the one you
Have stolen!

He was a son, a partner… He won’t
Be forgotten, Sir Death, you have
Lost this game you began.

The players will move on, we will
Not allow this game to be played..

Sir Death, take care of him for me,
That is my unspoken request..
For he is my precious friend.

New Poem

Hello innmates! I'm back with another poem. This one was inspired by a late night conversation with a new friend I met.

Knight in Rugged Leather
When my heart came crashing
Down, when it shattered into
Tiny pieces, I felt so broken.

When the days seemed so
Long, and the nights way
Too short, I felt so alone.

When things that used to
Make me laugh, now began
To make me cry.

I felt as though the world
Had shifted, my life it
Seemed had ended.

I began to withdraw,
Began to hide, it seemed
As though the world had
Turned away from me
In my darkest hour of
Need.

I wanted to cry out, call
For help, but no sound
Had past my lips.

I silently begged the
Pain to end.. yes, my
Life then had ended.

One last breath, I inhaled,
One last breath had past
These lips.

Sorrow had beaten me
Down, but there he came
Riding on the golden ray
Of sun

Yes, there he came
My very own knight
In rugged leather.

Freed

While talking with Flirt I came up with this poem. enjoy

Freed
Standing in the sidelines,
Waiting, watching, seeing
Feeling..

Questions swarm around, never
Ending, never stopping, never
Breathing

Seeking answers, never pausing,
Never pulsing, always seeking,
Never finding.

Finding paths, wander free,
Falling tears, bating breaths,
Linking arms, and falling dream

Dying visions of smiling faces,
Fading imagines of eyes twinkling
Bright.

Whispers of a sad soul, trying to
Break free.

Whispers of brightness, of promises
Being kept. Of soaring dreams of
Grand delight

Of breaking free from the sins and
The grime. Of the pain and sadness
Lurking just beyond

Beyond the breaking point of
Darkness and light, beyond that
Threshold of fear and release.

Beyond the clouds of despair
And into the shafts of sunlight
Freed from all the defeat and rage
Of sadness and of grief.

Sins of Greed

Hello innmates! I've returned, sort of haha... If this offends anyone or if by chance, bossman if there is something in the poem that makes it so it shouldnt be up let me know and I'll promptly take it down.. Enjoy!

-SilentOne

Sins of Greed Can you see it, drifting
on the stream, the last
breath of the loved and
forgotten...

If you could, would you
stand up for what you believe
to save a life of dying greed?

If you saw, would you walk
on by, leaving them to their
soon ending fate?

Would you feel the peace embrace
or would you rather have an underlying
piece of guilt?

If guilt hugs you close, you've
chosen wrongly... Beware them
now oh life of death..

Easy it was to condemn and
ignore... easy it was to turn and
flee.. but now you've awoken
them..

There is no hiding your flaws
and faults... there is no getting by
without chance...

They wait for you now for
what you've done..

Prepare now... for the
Sins of Greed!

Story based poem

Hello Innmates,
I've returned after a long absence. This poem is about a book series I'm writing. Hope you all enjoy ~Silent One

Twelve Souls
The fates align,
Twelve in all.

A dangerous plight,
And unending fight. lives
Are bound.

Under siege the two
Main flee.

Twelve ignored, ten
Remain, two forge on.
Fury raged.

In these two, a trusted
Source, will cause chaos
No matter the course.

Ten hold true, their orders
Fare, within the circle only
Two saw fear.

Fear struck hard, flurries
Float, amongst the stars.

War begins, a struggle of test,
To reunite the twelve kids best.

Two broke away, their oaths did
Break. Upon the stone and sand,
The darkness in hand.

Darkness fled, to places anew.
Five elements remain, innocence
In the west.

Chaos abound, fires did start,
Behind the eyes, of golden red.

Fates wheel turns, for ten souls
Intertwined, two to find.

Fates align, war reigns on.
Peace on edge, of two dark sends.

A struggle of tests, twelve kids
Best. Two return, upon the
Cobblestone bathed in sand,
Darkness in hand.

Neat

That one got my attention. I'm already starting to speculate just what these characters' journey would look like and what kind of world they live in.

Pretty neat
