The coordinate thing was a printed readout, not an audible thing. However, I'm sure it's no secret.

understand...

...I won't wait at this spot forever. If I don't see any posts before long, I'll assume you have no further questions for the Major, and will bump the plot.

Body Armor

I do believe that the body armor being developed by the army is designed to help control body heat. Will our body armor do anything for us against the cold?

coldness

Nope, sorry, not in this game. If you want protection against the cold, bulky layering is the answer.

Realistically, bulky layering would be the answer anyway, I fear. this isn't 30 degree weather. This is -30 degree weather.

Welcome Vesper!

Glad to have you aboard! Is the grenadier a player, too, or an NPC, I wonder?

Hmm... Warning Wil Robinson, Warning!

If we have an NPC joining the team he's bound to be a doppelganger of alien origin ready to rip our faces off at the first opportunity and assume our identities. Forget that this would require him to have had prior knowledge of our arrival and arranged all of the proper paperwork. Forget that nothing about this has yet been but assumed paranormal. Forget that assuming all of our personalities would lead to extensive psychotherapy (do aliens have that). Just, for the sake of all that is holy: BEWARE THE NPC!

basic rules of gaming

I have noticed that there seems to be a basic rule of gaming with certain Dm's

Olan - Kill the NPC, he/she is the bad guy

Alacrity - Kill the guy who is hiring you, he is the bad guy. Kill his assistant too.

Sorry to hijack the thread, just noticed a trend.
