((OOC: Wow, I thought those were metallic wings at first. Then I saw the bigger version of the picture and saw it was a shield

Also, I think this should have gone to the Q/A page, right DDJ?))

Awesome.

If you're ok with it, you're arriving now, to reinforce the company. Describe your appearance at the camp, and I'll have the CO assign you.

EDIT: And yeah, it should, I'll paste it in in a bit.

A new recruit

Standing at 5'1" this elf wears scale mail, carries a Longsword in a sheath at her waist as well as a Crossbow and 3 cartridges lastly she carries a shield on her back.

She confidently walks in to the camp and says in a soft voice "I've just been assigned to your company. I was told that I had to see Maviar Hendrix, do you know where he is?"

Various soldiers turn and look as Holly speaks,

and one of them, a halfling, or maybe gnome, stands and points over at a man with the golden sun of Pelor's faithful strung around his neck, who is laughing at a joke of one of the men around him. Eventually he, Maviar, turns around and looks at you.

"Who might you be?"

New Recruit

"I am Hollyonna Loreweaver. I've been assigned to your company." she says in a confident voice.
Her eyes wander around the campsite taking in the surroundings and observing the symbol of Pelor around the neck of her commander.

"Another reinforcement?"

He says happily.

"I'll assign you with the four other new soldiers. Those two over there (he points to Arrohawk and Saiden) are looking for the other two by the bridge. Go talk to them. By the way, I am Maviar Hendrix, and I will be your Sergeant."

Can I help you.

I walk over to Arrohawk and Saiden and ask "Can I help you with anything?"

OOC: (Again)

It's been a while since we've heard from either Isabel or Astrolias. As they haven't posted any actions, I'll assume they're still at the bridge, and PM them asking to report in, as they've gone slightly AWOL. Heh.

I have decided

to NPC their characters, at least until the "set up" of the watch, etc. is done.

Intil and Kelan are at the bridge, looking at the swiftly flowing river.

As you approach, they look at Holly quizzically.

"Who are you?"

Don't bother with the camp

"Can I take the first watch then i can combine it with meditation. Is there anything I should look out for inperticular?"
"I do not think that is wise," Arrowhawk said plainly. "The point with the watch is to keep your eyes and ears well open, not to shut your senses." Arrowhawk had only just noticed the two he was looking for and apparently they had been joined by an elf. The mention of spending the watch in meditation sounded to him like sleeping on a guard duty.
"I do not think we have been introduced," he said to the elf. "I am called Arrowhawk and I prefer to stand guard with someone who I can trust to be fully aware of her surroundings."

Greatings Arrowhawk

"Greetings Arrowhawk. I am Holly, pleased to meat you." She says kindly but then notices Arrowhawks appearance.
"Very well I stand grad with you fully aware of the situation and shall meditate at sun rise when you are cooking breakfast and expect some to be reserved for me unless you have any better ideas." Obviously disapproving of Arrowhawk's rough and ready appearance.
