Hmmz...

Don't know if this is very accurate, but alcohol in Iceland is very expensive. It is almost idiotic, but I have no idea why this is so. But since I don't really drink much alcohol, this hasn't been much of a problem for me. Or perhaps it is the reason why I don't drink so much.

But yeah, expensive it is indeed.

Oh, and to use Dream Thief on Annabell again still requires that she is asleep, which is not her primary goal at the moment. Seeing as she can hardly even close her eyes, I doubt that you can convince her to sleep at all.

Fair enough

That just sounded really odd to me… you’d expect to pay about £5-£10 in the UK and less in most parts of Europe.

Anyhow, I thought I put in something about being able to use Dream Thief on targets who were still awake (albeit at a few dice penalty) when I wrote it up. If that part got taken out in your edit then I’ll redo my post.

Well...

If you could enter people's dreams without them actually being asleep, that would be overdoing things. So I could not allow you to be able to do that. Sorry

Made the change

TBH I was originally thinking of people who were daydreaming at the time or who might otherwisw have a weak grasp on reality. That said, it's not exactly essential to the Numina.

YES

Alcohol is expensive here in iceland and me and Shounin SUFFER because of it..

All we ask for is the chance to be hammered every single weekend but nooooo... It costs more then buying a f-in boat..

one L bottle of vodka can cost up to 40 euro's.. >_>

And it costs this much here because of ridiculous taxes and the fact that there is only one company here that actually sells boose because its the only one legally allowed too >_>

That might change soon though with beer and s***.. I hope that will force them to lower the prices...

Kafliching alcohol...

I remember on Rhodos, I could buy a bottle of vodka for 10 euro. And 200 ml of 80% absinthe for 6.5 euros.

Good times

At least I hear Norway has cheap beer. I'm gonna be staying there ALL summer

Finally

Parting with the subject of alcoholic beverages, I have finally updated our nice little game. I am sorry for the lateness of its arrival, and can't really say anything in my defense aside from "I didn't feel like it."

That being said, I'm going to be working on getting the Scion game started and so there will be no update this Wednesday (or at least don't count on it). There will be an update next weekend though, I hope on Saturday, so don't rush your posts.

EDIT: And Shounin, as I recall, the F-word is not allowed on the forums. I suggest you fix this.

Bleh,,

F***ing censorship..

Profantiy is bulls*** >_>

We can write about tearing people a new A-hole or slicing the necks of small children but we can't say F***..

Makes no sense >_>

...

If you don't like it, no one is forcing you to stay at the Inn, but if you are going to stay I suggest that you follow the rules instead of questioning them

There will be no breaking of the forums' rules in my games, and those who do will suffer for it! Consider William's finger pricked!

(But seriously, I won't award Shounin another XP until he has removed the F-word)

New word!

Alright, I invented a new word to replace the good old f-word. Kaflichen is now my favorite word.

hmm

Perhaps it is not a good idea to curse in Icelandic since your lovable Storyteller speaks Icelandic and can skip the XP rewards until you remove those appalling words from your post.

Seriously guys, I don't want to hold back on your XP rewards but you can count on me doing exactly that if I somehow think that you are using foul language in any thread that has anything to do with my games. And I'm aiming this one at both of you guys.

Did not know that

Eh, I wasn’t aware that alcohol was all that cheap in Norway either. From what I’ve heard from friends who’ve holidayed there it’s insanely over-taxed and over-regulated over there as well.

Skari-Dono, could I buy a couple more Numina? Specifically, I’d like to buy Blast ( Book of Spirits, p.138 ) to represent Hiram targeting enemies with blasts of freezing cold or broken glass in classic horror movie style and then Savant: Blast ( Book of Spirits, p. 146 ) to boost my dice pool to 10. From what you decided the last time I brought the subject up (7 XP for each Spirit Numina) that should cost a total of 14 XP.

EDIT: That should read p. 138. Not a smiley.

Hmm

Its not like i can actually swear...

the site automatically covers up words like F*** or f***ing..

So as long as you don't put it into the f***ing title there shouldn't be a problem.

Which of course makes no sense at all since everyone knows what is supposed to stand there and read it as such anyways..
