So I will finally be going back home tomorrow where I will have full access to my books. I guess I will update the game on Wednesday (or next weekend if the posts are too few). If everybody post early, I might get an update in this weekend, even.

Anyway, I hope you all had happy holidays and are fresh to start the new year

So here's the current situation:

Shounin, William has bit of a problem. He ripped all his clothes aside from his coat so they are pretty much useless. Additionally, since you talked about tracking the woman who you attacked, I've already rolled your dicepool with +2 bonus because she was bleeding. If you think you should have gotten a +3 or +4 we can argue over that, but you should know you already got 6 successes which is enough to track her down. I did however assume you were tracking her in wolf form since that form has the best bonus to Perception and human-form can't use its sense of smell to track. The wolf-form is troublesome since you are inside the town, but at least it's better than hybrid or near-wolf form. The fog might give you cover, but I wouldn't count too much on it. Also, you can't carry your opponents' weapons in the wolf-form.

Gerald, I've already told you that you now have active Resources 5 since you signed that contract. You were talking about getting yourself a Haven or two but you will need to roll the BPs you've earned, and I would need to jump your story about a week or two, depending on how you'll do things.

Jenth, Jed just pissed off the vampire and now it has attacked. Syanide is outside the car, but both Jed and Herst are still inside. You can jump outside and start shooting, but you only get one shot per turn. It is unlikely that a bullet would pierce through the top of the car, although it still is possible. Herst's shotgun is in the backseat.

Vorrioch, Hiram scored 2 successes on the Ghost Speech roll. Needless to say, you scared the hell out of Einhart. You can either add that part in yourself or wait for me to update, but I'll assume that he runs away in terror.

Drakar, this is your chance of expressing what you think the dream means in your own words. As a friendly hint, you can ask Daiki what he thinks and/or what business he was attending to.

This was a quick overview of the situation. Hope it helps you getting started. Another thing is that I will start dishing out BPs per update now. If you post at least once before an update, you'll get at least 1 BP in addition to any that you may otherwise earn. That should speed up the advancements of this group

Did you decide to make any changes to my new Numen? Hiram’s probably going to try to use it at some point over the next few rounds so it could be useful to know how it's going to work.

I did make so changes and ideas that I sent you in complete form. PM back if you have any thoughts or if you want to change anything.

I will update tomorrow and anyone who hasn't posted by then will not get a continuity to his story for another week. That's right, starting tomorrow, I will only update this game on Wednesdays.

I'm also going to make a few changes to the advancement system so that you do not lose any BP if you fail the advancement roll, you'll just need to wait another week or two to make another roll for the same thing. Hopefully this will make use them more often.

So I've updated for all of you, all who posted that is, and I gave you all 1 BP. Yay. Alright, check the posts, I think everything is there. If you have any questions, just ask them.

Oh, and next update will probably be next Saturday or Sunday. I'm trying to start the Roman game but that may not happen for another week, which gives me time to update this game more often until then.

I stumbled upon a list of Merits which can be used in this game. If you find something in there that you like you can ask me if you can have it and I will probably allow it.

Could I spend another 5 BP to gain the Breath Stealing Numen (Asylum, p. 114)?

As I seem to be burning Essence fairly quickly thought it might be handy to have a means of regaining more than the standard 1/ day.

Since you are burning Essence fairly quickly, I'm going to allow you to take that Breath Stealing Numen for 5 BP.

I have been thinking on it and I think I want to use some BP to gain the Prime ** rote Magic Shield how do I go about it.

Just spend the BP as if they were XP (making the Rote cost 4 BP). I can add it in if you want, but I hope you understand how the spell works before you buy that rote because I'm not going to allow you to switch later on.

I read many times it is draining on my mana I know but also it protects me from hostile magic granted not the same as my other shield spell does for physical non-grappling attacks but enough I think. Also I can let magic through if I choose.
