Ehm

Is this one still alive then?

Given that only three people have posted over the last month I'd assumed it had died off over the Christmas holidays.

Yeah

Seems that way .. I have been checking up on it periodically .. but I am hoping it relives again someday .. seems that due to busy schedules it got put on hold for a bit.

I'm still here

Well I'm still here. But if other senior officer types are busy at the moment, there's not much posting that anyone can do.

I'm sure things will kick off again in the future.

absolutely

Eol is moving from one job to another, and as the GM, his avsence naturally hurts the game. I've been absent, too, which I;m sure has not helped.

But yes, this is still alive (see Brom's posts). Those on the Charon should be able to post with no issue.

Which reminds me... I need to post for Fletcher.

Aww Shucks....

Olan, you are too kind. Since I have a few characters in mind, I will work up some backgrounds and histories and spend some time researching. Ooh, I can't wait!

Fair enough

Okay then, I’ll start putting something together over the next week or so (or sooner, if the game starts up again).

I just thought it might be best to check first. There’s nothing worse than spending a couple of hours writing up a post for a game and then discovering that it's already dead.

^ Has happened to me before.

That's what counts.

So long as some of us are moving it forward, when Eol returns it will be ready to jump full swing into the thick of the Dominion trouble.

Indeed...

...as I mentioned in the Q&A (I think...) you all have been amazing in my rather abrupt and unexpected absence. My apologies to all concerned, of course.

Anyhoo, we'll be moving ahead with this in the next few days, I promise. (That's the 'good news'). Unfortunately, I heard from Alacrity, today, that he'll not be able to join us in this one as Lt Tier (that's the 'bad news') and, as such, it does look like there's a Chief Engineer spot available on the Cerberus if anyone would care to take a stab.

In game at this moment, the engineering duties aboard the Steamrunner are being NPCd for the most part, and there's no problem continuing on with that, of course. If anyone is looking for a slot, though, there ya have it. We'll keep it open for a "fresh" character until Cerberus and Charon link up at DS9... at that point, we'll almost have to have a CEO aboard and so will 'lock it down' to a specific NPC, perhaps. (Should anyone come along wanting the role, later, though... our NPC could be geeked or somesuch... )

Blahblahblah... Chief Engineering Officer spot available. Nuff said.

Knock Knock

Hi!

I just signed up after reading about you on lindahl's pages. I have been playing RPG pbf and pbem about star trek quite a while, eventhough I havent been doing it lately... so I might be a little "rusty"
I was looking for a good game to go "back in" and finally i see one that takes place in one of the Star Trek shows! Darn it is hard to find a Star Trek based game that does not play after 2390's... sooo good! DS9 is there, so I imagine is Sisko, Quark and virtually also the Enterprise somewhere... !!
Is there any position open? Care to give me a little description of your game? THanks

blargh.

I hate the Big Al isn't joining us. Of course, since I haven't posted in ages, I have no right to gripe...

no

I'm already neglecting too many threads to join another one. Besides, you have plenty of people in the star trek game.

It's not like you are losing Lt. Bob.

Check it out...

...it's Johnny Bravo!

"Do the monkey with me, momma! C'mon!"

Loved that cartoon for some reason.

Anyway, it does appear that there's a slot for Chief Engineer aboard the Cerberus available... and, since we are Federation Starships here, I'm sure that there are other slots we could slip you in to if ENG isn't your thing.

Of course, I still need to get off my butt and get a post for Mac in so we can get this thing moving again... Trying to motivate, I swear... just ahven't had much success yet. *sigh*
