LMAO

Great bout of posts all... Despite my earlier frustration, it really is good to be back in action with this one. I'll get some backposting in and get Cerberus moving...

Brom... response to your PM forthcoming as well.

Thanks, everybody... you're a helluva group.

XO

Just the XO, Cap'n Lou. All of the other officers had a debriefing to prepare for the next morning. Still waiting for their pieces to be posted.

Yup.

I believe there's still quite a bit more to say, and as the Cerberus is leaving drydock that already puts us a day behind.

...

I'm assuming the Gaptain G has a big fat bombshell of a mission briefing for us all? Or did i not realize this meeting was it...?

You'll have to excuse me, I'm on day three with significan lack of sleep and about 24 hours shy of a significant occupational deadline that will mean the difference between survival or the dole. Since I am the least overdue to post for this game, I believe Mas'Riat will just sit there quietly, relieved that she hasn't been flayed for her unintentional tardiness.

Cerberus Roster

Howdy. I don't know how major a game factor the ship rosters are in the Trek Tools section, and if they're not important just disregard this. I noticed Tier still listed as CEO, and I also noticed everyone has bios. Is this something I'm supposed to participate in? If so, I'll need to do up a bio and know who to send it to. But like I said, if it's not really important to the game just forget I asked.

Don't know about "major"...

...but the rosters are helpful for helping others reference things about your character, etc, and does help to keep things on an even keel... thanks for reminding me.

I've gone ahead and cleared out Tier *sniff* ...Alas poor Steward! We knew him well, Horatio!... *sniff* and stubbed in Cameron. Feel free to edit in your service record, personal bio, etc, as you see fit.

BTW

Another problem;

I brought this up before, but I never checked back on it and it seems I'm still listed as a Cerberus crewman instead of a Charon crewman on Trek tools - as such, I can't edit character info.

Wondering if anyone could fix

thanks,
Lou

Help My Tard Arse

OK, feeling dumb now. When I go to Trek Tools and try to view existing log and/or roster, I only get an option to add stuff, can't seem to just view what's already there. Am I doing something wrong? Did Timmy fall down the well? Halp! Hehe.

LOL

If you click on the character to be edited, there should be a link at the bottom that will allow you to edit.

Hrmmm

OK, was able to do it then. Reason I sent the post was that it wasn't even letting me view the roster, adding someone was the only option it gave me when I put pointer on "Roster" on the home page, wasn't let me click the actual "Roster" link, just saying "Add someone"; must have just been a glitch, on this visit I was able to view the roster and will edit bio accordingly when I get one done up in detail. Wish me luck, am running my first larp as a storyteller tonight, for a fairly large expected crowd! (Vampire: The Masquerade, by the way). Later all, and thanks for the info Fef

Tools

The flyout menu needs to be moved over Duncan so that the button underneath it can bemore easily clicked.

Cap'n Lou, I think Olan needs to make that change.

With as much as we jump around in the timeline the logbook is vital. Character bios are also very useful.

say what?

Logbook?

Um...what might that be, and how does one use it? not for me, no no no, i mean, you know for the newcomers.

Yeah, that's it. The newcomers.

Also, I'm sorry to say that Mas'Riat is a little...wel, she's stagnanting. So I am going to force a post, and if it's misplaced, let me know.

The Trek Tools

Trek Tools are located here: http://www.rdinn.net/trek/
Just click on the ship you want to investigate and you have a bunch of links at the bottom of the page, some with fly out menus that could make it a little interesting to try and click on. I've gotten around this by right clicking and selecting "Open in a New Tab." Anyway, there's a roster to see who is who, and who the player is for that character as well as a background, department, etc., and there's a logbook where you leave notification of your activities so other posters can crosscheck your whereabouts and what else is going on aboard the ship at the time of their post. Right handy.
