And input is always appreciated...

...in regards to rank, species, planets, ships, bases, etc.

For the record, though, my thoughts with the Romulans that would be accompanying us on this particular mission wouldn't number more than probably 6(including the character taken on by DM).

They're technically posted as "advisors" and "security for RSE assets," after all, and are permitted to make use of fleet personnel (ENG lackeys, if you will) where necessary. (They're also aboard as part of the deal for letting us borrow the cloaks to begin with)

DM will play the "ranking officer", of course, and will likely have a "second" who is only a single rank below her... the remaining four, I had imagined, would likely be even lower ranking and could easily be classified in the Uhlan category if you wanted to go that "low" but I'm not opposed to all 6 Roms holding "officer" rank... sub-lt, lt, etc...

Anyhoo... just my take as it originally came into my head during the "concept phase".

Charon

Oh I wasnt planning on posting till my C is complete, and it seems like I have time to research and come up with my C bio and stuff since the Cerebeus is a ways off from rendezvousing with the Charon at DS9. Good I will need all the time I can get for this one.

Time indeed...

I don't imagine that, in real time, Cerberus will be getting to DS9 until probably mid-december... then, come January, when Capt Gavison and his crew are ready, we're off through the wormhole...

Plenty of time for ya to work with, Ye Olde.

Ranks

Ok so all the ratings hold a sub Lieutenant rank. I just made another one. I think one of them should be female.

OK so what is the exact equivalent of a Centurion, a lieutenant, or a Lt. Commander.

Centurion

is the rough equivalent of a Starfleet Lt Commander.

Charon's location and disposition

If you'd like to post as a character of the Charon (and your character concept has been approved, of course) you are more than welcome to. Keep in mind the following:

1. The Charon has just been through a battle with Dominion forces and it did not go well. As such, the Charon is back in dock at DS-9 for repairs and will be (conveniently enough) until roughly the time that the Cerberus arrives.

2. You can post aboard the Charon, overseeing repairs associated with your responsibilities while DS-9 and Charon staff go about them, or...

3. You can post aboard DS-9 while off-duty, or...

4. You can post aboard the Charon while off-duty, while...

5. Any reference concerning Captain Gavison should be done with his exceptionally foul mood in mind. He's generally in a bad mood, but this one is particularly foul, and...

6. It is highly possible that the crew of the Charon has developed an overgrown sense of "elitness" as Captain Gavison has volunteered the ship for just about every dangerous mission he could find and so far, they've survived if a little worse for wear... so far.

Oh, and posting will be in the same thread, just title the header with the Charon instead of the Cerberus and we should be OK.

Cool...

...thanks, Brom. Good to know.

Don't get too excited, there, DM... Cerberus won't be putting in at DS9 for a while.

going off of what I know...

Dragon Mistress, if'n it's alright with you, I'm gonna push your post back down the timeline an hour or so, max, to give the new security chief time to board the Cerberus - and involve him in the romulan arrival.

Normally, I wouldn't presume, but I already ran the timeline of "security chief arrives just before romulans" with the GM yesterday, back when you only had one post, and it didn't have a time attached.

Romulan-flavoured scooby snacks

Obviously our pet kzinti is feeling hungry, and fancies some Romulan chow.

LMAO

I you guys!!!

Yes, Olan and I had a discussion about Rrowl being on post when the Romulans arrived so it's all in order to do a bit of adjustment to the space-time continuum here. Sorry about not PMing and advisory to that effect your way,DM... I hadn't expected a second post from you so quickly, though.

Anyhoo... for my part, I'm in the midst of getting Sitok and P'Tammah replied to and getting some other things lined up, as well. Should have something for the lot of you before the day is out.
