Yes the group is quite large enough with dragging me along I shall stay with Selaro where my talents may be needed. Honestly I had no intent on killing on partaking in this hunt in the first place. Besides my assistance may be required here as I sense something is amiss." He looks back down at the fire satisfied with his choice. He was glad Selaro did not go because that would have made him the only one to stay. Not only that but I am much to behind on my studies to go off and hunt. I can at least get something down while looking after the camp and Selaro. It would also be a shame if anything went missing. He laughed at that comment knowing someone wouldn't be to pleased with him saying that.

Aldern scowls and looks at Selaro. If that is your wish, but as Welbry has stated .. the hunt is on. The elf is correct, the first is sometimes last, but those who stay behind too long are rarely victorious! Lets go! And I do wish you would change your mind but at least enjoy the feast we will prepare upon our victory The group heads off into the woods leaving the wizard and the rogue sitting at the Carriage .. alone at last (I'm sure the wizard thought to himself)

Taden smiles at the departure of the noble hopeing that he is gored by a wild boars tusk. He looks over at Selaro smiling slightly. Well Selaro we have talked before but I feel as I do not know anything about you. Will you please tell me about yourself.

" There isn't much to tell, I moved to Sandpoint 2 years ago from Ashen Moor to escape from my family history and where I learnt weaponsmithing from my brother..." at this point her eyes become very tearful but she wipes them away almost as soon as Taden notices
"but he died of a plague when I was 14. When I arrived in Sandpoint I used my savings to set my self up with a room and as a weaponsmith." After Selaro finished she takes a moment to compose herself and says

I am very sorry for your loss.There isn't much to tell on my part. My father died when I was very little. Killed by bandits. Taden looks down his eyes swimming with tears. And mother was taken captive. He looks up at Selaro as he wipes the tears out of his eyes. You may think Ill of me for crying. Well I was of going to town for supplies. When I came back I was terrified. A tall man approached me. He seemed to have come from no where .He took me to a wizard academy and that's were I stayed. I already told you why im here

After some more eye-wiping Selaro asked whether Taden wished to practice with his weapons with her as it was silly just to sit and do nothing. Even though she respected that wizards needed time to study she knew that he would only survive if he knew how to fight properly.

That is fine with me. I did alot of studying the night before so I should be fine for now. I hope you respect that the only weapon I have is this Quarterstaff My only hope is that im not a bad combat practice partner. He laughes stands up and walks over to a clearing

Selaro follows Taden over to the clearing drawing her scimitar as she walks.
"I'm sure that you'll be a fine sparing partner Taden" (Out of game, shall we treat this as real combat except that we do non-lethal then we might get a little experience for it )

"What shall we do oh brave warrior, maybe challenge some other person to a fight or go hunting for the boar. Or shall we just sit by the fire-pit and tell tails of our home cities and joke at the idea of bad voodoo or descus the strange appearance of a helmet in the orc's room or the holy symbol in Myra's position."

Ariellyn and Welbry sneak ahead into the woods. They move quietly and swiftly and at last they see a movement in the underbrush ahead about 200 feet. It is a boar, and it is well hidden under the underbrush and apparently eating some roots. It might be the boar they are looking for.

Round 1 Synopsis:
Ariellyn finds a good climbing tree and climbs to the top. Searching for a good branch, she finds a spot that she could easily survey the area and get a shot off with an advantage. Welbry gets his bow ready loading an arrow and waiting for a good shot. Grush also slowly heads towards the boar, ready to attack. The boar, unawares, continues eating roots.

Round 2 Synopsis
Welbry's first arrow flies straight into the heart of the thicket where the Boar is eating his roots. It flies so directly that it hits the boar square in the side even though he is mostly covered by the underbrush. As the elven archer makes her way into a good vantage point she see's Welbry's arrows fly off in a blaze of glory. She wasn't quite ready, but I guess the chase is on.
The wild boar rages and charges Welbry
With fury the wild boar charges out of the underbrush. He see's only Welbry standing in the woods launching arrows at him and charges through the underbrush with a load squeal.

Round 3 Synopsis
Before the boar even reaches welbry his heart already stops beating. A number of arrows fired down into its neck stop send it careening towards Welbry in a dying heap. The boar lands just a few feet from the group. His body .. lifeless.

Returning to the tents with a prize boar, The party arrives to celebrate at the tent town. Is their boar the winning boar? No strange markings on the side of the boar to indicate it as the Tickwood boar, so probably not. More hunting parties arrive one at a time with boars as well. Eventually all have arrived. None bear a special mark. So which boar is the winning boar? Have none claimed the prize?

Ariellyn retrieves her arrows from the boar. Their darkwood shafts, so much tougher than regular arrow, meant less breakage. The action gave her time to calm herself down. She was angry about what had transpired. She had not wanted to kill the boar at all, all she was going to do was see if it was the right boar. Welbry shot at it before she had found a place to check it out. Then it raged and attacked straight and Welbry the only one of the group in sight. She had wanted to not shoot and let the man take what was coming but she couldn’t.

Ariellyn considers not saying anything, as she walks back quietly behind the others. Dragging the boar back, she left to the bigger members of the party she wanted not part in that. However, if she didn't ask him why he fired before they knew for sure she would not understand his reasoning. She had thought he understood she was going to check out the boar and if it was not the trophy boar then they would leave it alone.

“Welbry, I would like to ask you something?” she drops behind the group so that their conversation would be private.

“I thought the plan was that I would see if it was the trophy boar before we took action. There was no reason to kill the boar otherwise. I hadn’t even got into position before you fired. It was not threatening us yet so why did you shoot before we knew?”
