Ouch

That is a fierce north winded conclusion to two more characters. This is one of those occaisions where one is forced to recall the birth of the saying 'Lawful Stupid'. Anyway, an honourable retreat is a bit overdue so new characters it is I guess. I wonder who will join our crew next- more importantly, does Chris have any other side plots he can throw at the new characters to occupy them? Oh dear- and what about Firin? I hope he has some kind of ammulet of ice immunity hidden under those bandages somewhere....

Oh, and I'm back now. I'll see what I can do about that update for our lovable bard (anyone else notice a large number of singers seem to inhabit our group. A few have departed, whether by father or fire, but I notice a number of non-bard singers XD)

.

Wow, I just realized, reading Sib's post, that our group has a 33% Mortality rate. That is scary high. 9 peopel all together have tried this quest, and three have died. Insane.

And to think

How close it was to a 44% rate when you chugged that potion. We have a supergnome now, instead of another dead one. Don't forget Artanis' shield either... wow. We ought to be careful.

The mortality rate has been high, but to be honest these last couple of deaths
could have been avoided. And of course Sheva died because her player disappared.

As for non-bard singers, all priestesses of Eilistraee can sing a little. Although she only has one cross class skill point in the ability.

Oh and welcome back!

Seath rate

If you count Sheva's death as well that is five deaths. And your right it would have been more if Xaris hadn't swallowed that potion. because he was virtually dead but happily for im he survived on a great roll. That would make a 54.54% death rate,

The combats have been tough (especially the one with the werewolves!), but I don't agree that the challenges have been more than we could handle.

It seems to me that that's what you're complaining about. But you're characters never questioned following the wishes of a disembodied voice in a defiled temple, and then chose to attack an immortal dragon demon thing when you were in a weakened state. Both Silvara and Zora were the authors of their own fate rather than the passive recipients of some capricious DM-ing.

Dylan's character sheet

Quick query. I was taking quick gander at the spells Dylan knows, and realized that he's level 4. Wasn't he supposed to be level 5? Or am I completely wrong?

good news for all.. at least I think so

I think I had posted that Talus and Solvy could update their charries to level 5, but that was before Dylan joined... HOwever, I'm in a giving mood, and a current situation leaves my math already hurtin my noggin lol... Sooo..

If you are not already level 5. You may level to that now.

If you are making a new character, they may start at level 5, with 10,000 gp to spend on items.

I have spoken, so shall it be lol.

Cool maps

Cool maps Kaelyn. The one detailing the layout of the keep is especially funky.

Of course now we have to think of a strategy...

Maps

The second map is from a couple years ago when i had a copy of the same software wizards actually used for its modules and adventure boxes that never made it to general market. Now however on a different computer with nothing but paint, map one is the best you can get on short notice. Granted with more free time i could grid scale hand draw some kick ass maps like i do for table top but with the rate this game is updated and my work load it's just not practical if even possible lol.

I could always redo the map using dundjinni. (if you want me to that is)

dunjinni

I've got it on my laptop, just didn't have my laptop at the time of the update.

on another note... The plan was to attack the south east camp... because it was isolated... However, if you look at the map, there is no means for you to reach said encampment without circling the ENTIRE area, or cutting right in front of the keep....

Soooo, judgement call will have you go for the South west one, that way you can retreat back to the bridge and over if need be.

working on update now.

Tardy post

I intended to post today but I've been a little busy. So (hopefully) I'll get one up tomorrow.
