Team Name, Got it!

The Splendiferous Team Roughly Led by a Drow, the Members of Which Include an Albino Super Gnome, a Warlock, a Human Eillistreean, A Half-Elven Woman-Who-Survives-Burning-Buildings-By-Leaping-Out-Windows, and Some Sort of Musician; Former Members Include Fey Bards, Worshipers of Pelor, a Woman of the Forest, and a Wizard and Her Gecko; Sponsered by Bart, Your Friendly Neighbourhood Farmer.

I think it fits. When we team up with Atharam and his lot, and the two woman on the mountain, we can throw in more words. ^-^

And a final note about Bolikar, when it comes to D&D, there aren't many combinations that are ruled out- ever. You have merely but to glance at 'Half-Elemental' or 'Half-Vampire' to know that 'Half-Orc-Half-Ogre' is really quite tame. That said, judging by Bolikar's cheerful disposition, I think he grew up with domestic problems in his house(cave)hold. One of his parents was probably a raving drunk and I bet the other left at an early stage in baby-Bolikar's life, if his parents even stayed together long enough for him to be born.

EDIT: Miniature Blackbelt should be thrown anywhere into the team name.

*struggles to fit that all on one business card*

...Maybe we ruled out 'Thundercats' too quickly?

Well, as far as group names go

There's two ways to do it. One consists of two parts, where the first part is a synonym to 'group' or 'alliance', and the second part is a unifying factor.

'Communion of Tethyr' for instance (it doesn't quite work for our group, seeing as how we're not all given the quest at Tethyr, but you get the idea of the format)

The other type of group name consists of a single phrase of about two words that is both a sort of unifying factor and works as a name.

For example, 'The Moonlit Brigade'

I just picked 'Moonlit' seeing as how a lot of what we've done so far at least has taken place at night or in darkness of some sort (i.e. the cave)

I've got it..

"Sitting on Horseshoes"
Should be your name for how lucky some of your rolls have been, even in dire situations lol

Hmmm

With so many dead and injured so far how about the Luckless Legion. If we get lucky the the Lucky Legion or if wew have phenominal success there is the Legendary Legion
Of course the is the Phoenix Risingb since we keep getting up from the dead. We die only to rise again.

Hmm...

I wouldn't say we are all entirely luckless. Sometimes not even luck can help us out of certain situations. Though as for that, there is a point to be made there.

Morality Rate: (current percentage here)
will be our title.

Mortality Rate: 47 for example, I can' recall off-hand how many characters have come and gone, though I think five have died. Don't forget to include characters who aren't technically in the team yet but await only a matter of time.

I just realized something- as Aelistae has somewhat been our leader, I wonder how she and Atharam will get along, the whole leadership instinct n' all.

the Dark and the Light of it.

Oh, I have just been waiting for that too. He is keen to kill her bor being a Drow and therefore evil. She of course is the defacto leader of a group trying to do good things; helping Bart, killing Goblins and other nastiness and freeing this area from Bolikar.

...

It is five characters that have died (Bri and DM's character twice and Arcsheva), but one of those was because a player disappeared. So the mortality rate isn't that high really.

I wasn't aware that Aelistae had been the de facto leader though.

hehe..

Common story. The unofficially elected leader of any party is always the last to learn of this revelation. I should get to posting soon...

Just a thought...

Would Aelistae be able to use the Fighting Defensively or Total Defence option with her being hasted? i.e. her first standard action goes to activating the healing belt (or attacking in later rounds), and the second goes to Total Defence... It's not much, but I think it might help...

Just read your post Sib, and thanks for having Dylan risk himself to try and save Aelistae.

From what I got, I thought there were to many monsters around Aelistae for her to move?

There's too many to stand up without provoking 5 attacks of opportunity. From what Kaelyn told me on msn the situation is as follows (imagine this to be 3x3):

Goblin: Goblin: Empty
Goblin: Aelistae: Artanis
Goblin: Goblin: Empty

...with Dylan somewhere to the right of Artanis. So Sib's plan could work.

I have no idea if Dylan dragging Aelistae would provoke attacks of opportunity on her or just on Dylan though.
