what a bunch of idiots.....

After taking a swing from the thug, which did not really trouble Cage but there is one thing that people should know about Cage. He was really slow to fight because he was kinda afraid what he would actually do. If there would be a description of his fighting style there is only one word that covers them all, inhuman. So instead of raging into a fight, Cage would normally hold back for a while and when the all hell breaks lose, he would join in.
Anyway, there stood Cage and watching the thug fall into two pieces and seeing the others standing, with there weapons in there hands and standing there like some cartoon heroes.

"what a bunch of idiots" Cage thought to himself.
But in the same moment he shaw that he was no less then a idiot then they. He went to his pocket, took up his flask and took a big, long sip. Then he heard the women talking about helping her or something, which only gave Cage a reason to make his sip a bit longer.

"No one gets unpunished for treating a lady like that". Said Cage.
"Let´s go and teach these f***ers a lesson". He said while putting his sunglasses on and taking another sip.

What now?

It took a moment for Arashi's blood to stop boiling. He always loved a good fight. Sure, he'd carved two people into mincemeat, but he was pretty sure they deserved it. Everyone deserved a beating for treating a lady badly, and more so if you were ugly. Pleased with himself, he let his blade dissipate, the tattoo returning to his body. He brought a hand up to get his hair out of his eyes and then noticed something which should have been obvious.

He was covered in blood. His shirt, his pants and, the worst part, his shoes. Stealing such stylish clothes had been a lot of trouble, since his mother didn't really send him enough money to spend on "unnecessary" things. He overheard the lady they'd just rescued talking about more of those thugs. Well, someone obviously had to pay for Arashi's bloodstained shoes.

He'd never admit to the obvious fact that the blood covering him was his own fault.

"Well, am I going to get all the fun for myself?", he asked the people who had stood up to beat on the thugs. He trusted strangers pretty easily, as long as they had common enemies. Without waiting for a reply, he ran out the way the girl had entered.

New friends to play with

As Arashi dashed through the cart and into the next one behind them, Cage quickly followed and the rest tagged along closely. The next cart was pretty much empty, the only people there lying in a pool of their own blood. They did not move, but none of the five Godsons could see whether they were alive or dead without closer examination.

Another passenger-cart was behind that one. It showed the same story. People lying on the floor, in their seats, covered in blood and wounds. None of them moved a single muscle. A single man caught the eyes of the group. Unlike the rest of them, he seemed to have been armed with a sword of some significance. His hand was still clutching it as strongly as he were still alive and breathing, but this man was neither. The moment she saw him, Trista looked away.
"It's Ardeth," she said, "son of Isis."
Ardeth seemed to have taken down at least two of his assailants, but something had cut through his leather armor.

"We came to Milan to get one of four keys," Trista said as the group made their way through yet another bloody cart, "but a group calling themselves the Darkness Flock somehow knew we were coming. We don't know what the keys are for, but the Flock seems to have real interest in them."

The fourth cart after the one where the Godsons fought with those thugs was no less bloodier than the other three. Two figures stood out. A woman was flat on the floor with her throat cut, and a man shot several times sitting in a blood covered seat. What made them stand out were the weapons they were equipped with. The woman was holding an axe with a handle the length of her arm, and in the man's lap there was a gun that seemed rusty and matte.
"Sara, daughter of Freyr," Trista said to clear the identity thing up, "and Martin, son of Hades. Their deaths will be avenged."

That was the last passenger-cart. Only carts with cargo were left. The Godsons made their move into the first cargo-hold, and they were greeted by over dozen of men dressed as motorcycle-gangmembers, with blood-shot eyes and skin as if they were about to explode. All were armed with improvised weapons or everyday tools. As soon as they had noticed their newly arrived company, they became furious with rage and raised their tools.

The animal I have become....

Going from cart to cart you could see that Cage´s face did not change, he always staid focused and did rarely show any kind of emotions. But inside, that was another story. Inside he was struggling not to give in but unluckily Cage had been drinking way to much and was loosing control over himself. When Trista explained to all of them the purpose and seeing the son and daughter of Freyr and Hades, slaughtered. At this moment, Cage snapped in his mind and when they reached the cargo cart and he saw those punks standing there, Cage just simple lost all control. He rushed forward, not saying or shouting anything. One of the thugs ran towards Cage with huge baseball bat and swung it. But just when the bat was going to connect with Cage he jumped up and jammed the claws in the sealing, leaving the thug just air to swing at. Then in the same movement, Cage swung himself towards the group. He landed just by the sliding door and on the both sides where big piles of wooden boxes. Before the group realized what the hell was happening Cage struck with his claws the lowest box so the whole pile starting falling towards them. Then he turned at the door and sliced up the lock in one strike. Then Cage grabbed the door and sprung it open in one try. Standing there with his back at the group, Cage turned is head at them slowly. You could see in his eyes that someone else was in control, someone who Cage was trying to hold back all this time. He then turned all the way towards the group and shouted.
"HERE´S JOHNNY". And with this came deep and cold laughter.

"Cry 'Havoc!'..."

Arashi had been the first one to leave the original cart, but the carnage had slowed him down leaving him now second in line to attack. He was just on Cage's heels, charging towards the thugs.

Being distracted in battle wasn't usual for Arashi. He had the useful trait of being able to lose himself completely, doing nothing but simply enjoying the rush of adrenaline. Not that that kind of thoughtless battle was any good in serious circumstances. He usually got his ass kicked in every fight where he wasn't at an advantage. Which was nearly always. "An advantage is no fun" an old bar-brawler had told him once, just an hour or so before he got his skull crushed by a crowbar.

Arashi was distracted this time, though. Of all the people he'd met through his days, Scions were the only ones he related to. Sure, there were lots of different deities, he'd never even met any of his half-siblings, but one thing was universal for them: apparently the world depended on them. He didn't belong in Britain because of his Japanese heritage, and he didn't belong in Japan because of his British upbringing. He didn't belong in the snobbish circles of his mother because his father's blood, if he had any, ran too strongly in his veins, and he didn't belong in the circles of his own choosing because of his overprotected upbringing.

Sure, he could find lots of reasons for why he didn't belong with other Scions, but their common burden appealed to him. Seeing his 'kin' butchered like this made him mad. Really mad.

Arashi sprinted right behind Cage and ran past him when he stopped. A thug ran to meet him, but Arashi jumped up and kicked himself off a cargo-crate. His knee shattered the man's nose and cheekbone, leaving his face bloody mess )not to mention Arashi's pants. He really should have packed some extra clothes). The thug fell backwards from the force, landing flat on his back with Arashi standing on top of him. He slid on the floor like a snowboard a few meters forward, surprisingly far for a man wearing a leather jacket, stopping when Arashi was in the middle of the group of thugs.

Arashi's Kage no Ken materialized just as they stopped. Arashi's face was grim, almost sad. This wasn't one of those battles where he could get his precious rush and look cool while doing it. This was vengeance. Bloody vengeance for his 'kin'.

"Take a number, ladies", he said, his voice rather hoarse compared to it's normal tone. "You're all mine"

Whoopie

Eztli let out a loud sigh as he followed the rest of the group through the train without really knowing why. This had absolutely nothing to do with him and he really didn't feel like getting into more trouble right now. But the idea of not tagging along just didn't feel right, it gave him the feeling you get when your invited into a huge party after you get into bed. You really don't feel like going but you have this nagging voice in the back of your head going

"But what if its the best party ever?"
So silently he followed the group, although on his own pace resulting in him getting rather far behind. By the time the two idiots were already fighting he was still in the doorway having his latest and strongest set of doubts about the decision to tag along.

"Why does s*** like this always happen.."

He sighed as he heard a faint click besides him as the door into the bathroom opened, and one of the brutes charged out at him armed with a rusty knife in his hand, as big as a babies arm. Eztli's first reaction was too strike at the man as hard as he possibly could, but at the last possible moment he managed to stop his gloved fist a mere hairs width from the thugs face, who sadly did not have the common sense or wits to be surprised or phased and merely thrust his knife forward aiming at Eztli's lower abdomen.

Normally he would have merely sidestepped such a sluggish thrust but in this case he had virtually no space to move around in. So instead he spun around on the spot, barely avoiding the knife by less then an inch before slapping the thug as hard as he could with the back of his open hand using the Torque from the spin to enhance the power sending him flying to the wall

(Again Eztli uses back of the blade)

Massive

As Cage cut the ropes that held the wooden crates, the crates came tumbling down upon the unsuspected thugs. Two of them were hit by the crates and trapped under them. Cage's claws cut through the lock and the large sliding door swung open.

Arashi kicked into the face of the thug that had come running towards them, and the thug came crashing down on the floor with his back first. In a smooth motion, Arashi landed upon this thug and used him as a surfboard to slide towards the enemies. Just as he came to a halt in the middle of the enemy group, crates came tumbling down not far in front of him and buried two members of the enemy.

Eztli was nearly taken by surprise as one of the brutes came out from the bathroom, but the brute seemed just as surprised by seeing Eztli. In a smooth movement, Eztli avoided the knife hold by the brute, and his spin added momentum to his slap into the brute's face. It was a heavy hit, and it forced the brute back into the bathroom he had just gotten out of. The brute fell down onto the toilet and was completely out of it.

The group of enemies was enraged (although, they looked like they had been enraged long before the heroes got there). They started attacking whomever they could get their hands on. They swung their weapons pointlessly against Cage, who either parried their swings or gracefully moved out of the way. Jacob and Guy both joined in, doing what damage they could. Arashi was is tad bit more problem. He was completely surrounded on every possible side. Five brutes made the attempt at hitting Arashi with whatever junk they had in their hands, but none succeeded.

OOC: All Players who posted got +2SB, which earned them +1XP each.
Weekend: Beat 2 via crates.
Shounin: Dealt 1B damage to the brute.
Gerald Tarrant: 1B damage to the thug in the bathroom.
For the sake of simplicity however, all were knocked out.

"...and let loose the dogs of war"

Arashi's gaze was still that of a man who'd sacrifice his own humanity for this one cause. If anyone knew him well, which hardly anyone did, they would notice an absence of the usual spark in his eyes. The thug under his feet struggled a little, but Arashi crushed his windpipe with his heel without even looking away from the man in front of him; his next target.

He darted towards the thug with his sword dragging behind him, making a noticeable cut in the floor of the cart. Arashi's strike went upwards at an angle, making a rather nasty cut ranging from the man's hip to his shoulder. The thug attempted to block Arashi's attack with his fire-axe, but the Kage no Ken cut through the wood of the handle like butter. As the thug fell back, Arashi kicked the axe-less part of the handle with his shin, shattering it. In the same motion, he swung his blade and it's power rippled through the air. The shattered pieces of the axe went hurtling along with the attack, with enough force to pierce flesh.

Arashi wasn't done, he proceeded towards the next thug who was already headed towards him with his baseball-bat raised. With a ferocious war cry in remembrance of his slain kin, he raised his blade and...

Suddenly he felt an iron grip on his shoulders. The shock caused him to hesitate. He hesitated for just a little too long...

Fly baby Fly...

The thugs tried again and again to hit Cage, which did´t matter because Cage was way to quick for them. But all of a sudden, one of the thugs came from his right side where all of the boxes stood and swung towards his head with a baseball bat. Cage turned at him, put his right hand in front of his face. When the bat connected with the claws, it sliced into three pieces leaving the thug with just a small wooden thing. Cage quickly jammed the claws into the thugs feet and through the floor, leaving the thug stuck to the floor and screaming like hell. Then Cage drew the claws out and in the same movement he jammed them up the thugs jaw and through his head, you could see the claws sticking up from his head. Cage stood still for awhile, leaving the thug dangling in the air. Then Cage but his face against his own and said.

"Now you see me".
In the same moment Cage cut off his head, the body fell down to the floor but the head staid on the claws.

"And now you don´t". Said Cage laughing with all his face covered in blood.

He looked at the rest of the thugs, which had ether fled or starting fighting with someone else. That did´t matter, Cage just rushed into the next group and starting grabbing what he could get his hands on and starting throwing the thugs out off the train, with the head still on his left hand. Screaming at the same time.

"Better take out the TRASH"

Then he saw the little japanise guy from early, and without realizing what he was doing Cage grabbed him and yelled out.

"You bombed Pearl Harbor, you rice eating s***head".

With this, Cage threw him out off the train......

All fun and games

Jacob looked over the melée.

"Can't let those guys have all the fun."

He reached for his guns.

His guns. Not where they were supposed to be. He uttered a silent curse to the titanspawn he'd killed in the village a few days ago.

His blade slid silently out of its sheath as he drew it. He sprinted towards the thugs and veered to one side, slashing in a wide arc. The blade struck flesh, and he could almost hear it sing with joy as a crimson spray erupted from one thug. He slashed upwards, gutting another.

All the while, he had a small smile on his face as if this was an old habit.

Uhm

Eztli arched his eyebrows about as much as physically possible as he watched the shotgun-fellow toss the midget out of the train for no particular reason at all before attacking the men in front of him.

"You lot are insane.. Am i the only one who finds this a bit weird?"

He said, looking at the tattered girl as he did with slight confusion in his eyes. He didn't quite understand why all these fellows jumped into a fight that first of all obviously wasn't their fight without even wanting a reasonable explination for everything that was going on. The only thing he could conclude was that the lot of them were butt-f-inn-insane

"This is ridiculous.."

What were you thinking?

Arashi suddenly felt someone gripping him and as he turned around he saw it was Cage, one of the guys he thought he was fighting with and not against. After insulting Arashi's heritage, Cage hurled him out through the cargo-door. Arashi knew that he would only get one chance to stay on the train. Even though he could fly, he could not fly this fast.

As Jacob cut through their bodies, blood sprayed from the thugs' bodies and onto the floor. A second later, both of them had dropped to the floor completely lifeless. Suddenly, Jacob watched as two of the men he was fighting with fought each other and one of them was thrown out by the other. What were they thinking at a time like this? Three Scions were already dead, and they were fighting each other instead of finding the responsable. Surely, they were all out of their minds.

"You lot are insane.. Am i the only one who finds this a bit weird?" Eztli exclaimed.
"You would have needed to fight them anyway," Trista said as she tried to hold herself together. "As soon as they would have found out there were more children of the Gods on this train, they would have come after you too. At least this way I can tell you what is going on."

At that very moment, two men rushed towards her with arms high above their heads and ready to bring down some pain upon her. They didn't get close enough, though, as Guy managed to grab them and knock their heads together, effectively taking them out of commision. He had seen this on TV several times before, but he never thought it would be this easy.

All the men were either knocked out or completely dead. Blood covered the floor in the cart, with bodies cut open or broken in twain. Jacob could hear something coming from the next cart. For it to make enough noise so that he could hear it, it had to be at least as big as a horse.

Tihi

Eztli simply gave the girl a slight nod as he walked further into the cart, knowing what she said was true, fate was such a cruel mistress. Pushing his hair out of his face absent mindedly Eztli bent down in the middle of the cart and let the fingers of his right hand run through the blood on the floor. He was thankful that he couldn't feel the crimson liquid through his gloves, just looking at it was making him feel dreadful enough.

"What kind of monster am I?"

He whispered to himself as he got back to his feet and shook his head slightly to try and put some order on the hurricane of emotions and thoughts going through him at the moment. IT was a question he had asked himself quite often, and he really didn't know the answer. But he did know that feeling like he did at the sight of blood was definitely not normal, it had to be something unnatural, something that had to be fought.

"Well.. Now what?"

A bit bigger.

Jacob wondered for a moment what had happened to the little Asian fellow and was looking at the mess on the floor when he heard a faint sound coming from the next cart.

He didn't like taking charge, but this motley crew of misfits looked like it needed a leader.

He turned to face the others. "Ok, people. Listen up! I don't know you, but there has to be a reason for Fate to have brought us here together."

"If you have any argument with each other," he continued, glancing at Cage, "now is not the time to see it through. After this, you can do as you like, but follow my lead for now."

He pointed at the door to the next car. "If you need something to fight, you'll find it there. Just be careful, this thing sounds a bit bigger than these vermin," he concluded, kicking the dead thug at his feet.

last man standing

Cage looked around, seeing every thug on the floor and no one standing. Cage was not dealing very well with that, he wanted blood. So Cage pulled up Johnny boy and started going from one thug to the next and shooting them, desperately trying to inflict pain to other. After a while and with no responds Cage did finally find someone who was not dead. Cage stepped on his back and put his gun on the back of his head and said.

"The good news is I'm me, the bad news is you're you". And with that he pulled the tricker.
