Bryce Creations

Hey folk! Just doing a test run of Bryce, which I downloaded a couple hours ago. I figured I'd throw my first couple shots at you to get some feedback. So whatcha guys think?

The first one is pretty basic. I think it's pretty snazzy looking, but I was just trying to get my bearings with the program. The second one is a little bit more elaborate. In case you can't tell, its a dock in a cave, inspired by Ico.
So, thumbs up or down here, peoples? Comments wouldn't be too bad, either. I'll get back to yall when I get any crazy new ideas for this type of thing.

Two new ones

Two new ones here. Actually, one new one, taken from two angles. Here. Check em out.

Unfortunately, doing man-made structures well is a little trickier than I had thought, so I kinda stuck to the basics here. The second one is just a better look inside the court-yard, such as it is. Enjoy.

Bryce

I've never heard of Bryce before. I think you're doing well on your first attempts at creating stuff though!

If you like working with 3D programs, check out both Vue (by E-on software), and Mudbox (by Autodesk nowadays). I know you can download a fully functional tryal of the latter and it's BIG fun!!

Thrice! Egast!

Okay, I got more. These were actually all taken of the same model. it was huge. Seriously. Check these out.

This first one is just an areal view, just to get the overall feel from where the other pictures were taken from in relation to each other and various landmarks on the thing.

Good shot of the big mountain in the middle, taken from one of those plain-type areas off to the side.

Same mountain here, but from a considerably decreased altitude. Also, that canyon just looked too Clint Eastwood to leave out.

Just a neat little shot of me screwing around with the fog/cloud effects. At the bottom of yet another canyon.

Just the whole dang thing at night.

Also, Almerin, I'll check out Mudbox. Snoop around, see if I can find a trial version or something.

hehe

Those look very good, but still: Check out Vue, for the same effect, but with better quality and more material options. I made a video for the rdinn in Vue. You can see the results of that in the common room: Rdinn Youtube thread, somewhere low. I'm making a new one as we speak (read/type), because I think we should do better.

Keep up the good work, Swan!
