I've been a busy bee. Was going to post before going to work today, but that only gives me half an hour cause the boss called to see about me getting ANOTHER 8 hour instead of a 5 hour. I'm working 9:30 - 6:00 today, then hopefully still getting picked up afterwards to change and such, then go with my boyfriends best friend and my best friend to go out to windsor or something to drop his daughter off, and then going to his place to do his taxes. I might be able to do it while doing his taxes or after his taxes. We'll see what happens.

I'm REALLY sorry for the delay of game all, the boss must love me, cause he's giving me as many hours as I can legally have as a part time employee. I guess they like me as a worker, but either way, I'll try my hardest to post something today/tonight.

Actually, it kind of works out well for me because I may actually finish the post I've been working on and get it tacked up before you update.

See what I mean about 'busy all around'? I don't know what happened to the weekend, but it sure disappeared in a hurry.

well too late now, I just posted the udpate...and have 2 and a half hours before work, so going to go grab some food, and shower and then probably just relax some. I have to work 5 hours, but I get time and a half at work cause it is a holiday.

works for me guys, I'm off work tomorrow and wednesday, not sure about the rest of the week though because I have to look on two schedules, and the one says I'm off until friday, the other says I'm working thursday and saturday but off friday...so gotta talk to the boss when I go in.

Nah I didn't feel it was time for them to leave yet. Wanted to show them that Lyra was there to answer questions, but needed Spider to become suspicious as i knew he would I have to finish getting ready for work now though, it is 11am, and i still have to get dressed for work, brush my teeth and all that fun stuff, before I start at noon. Going to show up several minutes early in hopes of catching the boss at work, so I can talk to him about my schedule.

Am I correct that we are now to go riding gallantly off towards the Mountains to rescue the missing beggars?

Do we have a reason to go to the Mts? Is there something we are looking for? Normally a search for something like this would start at the crime scene. Why is Khalessin about to go wandering around in the wilderness? Although we will probably just get the vague answers Spider is expecting, should we be asking something more?

Do we have any contacts besides the lovely young lady who gave us a bird?

Just thought I'd ask, normally Khalessin would like a bit more information before riding off - he doesn't even know where he is going!

I'll wager that someone already knows who/what might be abducting the hopeless souls and, apparently, where he/she/they/it may be found... Now, from some PMs I had going back and forth with Flirty re: all of this (and, it's info Spider would likely share with the party once they're 'alone') is that Thyatis 'rolls up it's streets' at night - no one but no one appears to be outside after dark - and, very few people are willing to talk about the disappearances other than to say that they've been happening, it's horrifying, etc...

Way to be twitchy, Nomad... the mission we're on may not be precisely the mission we enlisted for.

of course Lyra and her boss know more than she is saying, but you don't know that. You know that somebody close to her boss was abducted which means that surely there was a private search to follow the tracks as far as she could without being spotted, the mountains were the farthest she could reach.
