Dok decided to help escort the Twins back to Botkinburg with Silver in case there were any further Goblin problems!

The Hill Dwarf Cleric of Helm explained to his fellow adventurers that he would cash in the Goblin Ears and collect the reward for finding the Twins; then he would find a safe place in town to hold the rewards in escrow in the names of one and all who had a hand in routing the common enemies and rescuing the Twins!

Dok will stay in town for the foreseeable future, taking the opportunity to patrol the areas around town and help repel any further Goblin raids that may or may not occur!

Dok also will take a hiatus from the game for the time being!

I will write that he also escorts the Twins to Botkinburg with Silver to secure the reward and cash in the ear bounties!

He will remain in town for the foreseeable future and the bounties will be secured and divided among the group and held in each of their names until you all return to town!

I have some Real Life matters to attend to!

Dok finished collecting Goblin ears and set about the task of helping to pile bodies for burning, in case some unknown evil was lurking in the Ridge that was able to animate corpses!

"I suggest we remain in a group and escort the Twins back to town in a group, rather than splitting up!"

I will be busy with Real Life for the next 10 days or more!

Somebody probably needs to reach out to the Twins and reassure them that we have come to rescue them, which also means they could also provide the information for us to find out how they were captured and what they know about their captors and the cave!

Dok made sure that there was no further use for his Spiritual Weapon, before he allowed his Spiritual Weapon to vanish from view!

Then the Hill Dwarf Cleric of Helm set about collecting the 'Ear Bounty' from the lifeless Goblins.

As he went about his business, Dok called out to those nearby, "We need to dispose of these bodies in such a way that no evil will be able to animate their corpses for nefarious deeds!"

Dok continues collecting right ears, expecting one or more of his companions to reply as to how to properly dispose of these bodies, before proceeding any further!

He also acknowledges what Hornet has said regarding searching the area and the cave!

Dok kept concentrating his Spiritual Weapon to eliminate any enemies that were a threat to the Twins escaping, while he brandished his natural weapon to eliminate any foes headed his direction.

Dok utilizes Spiritual Weapon against the enemies closest to the twins, after he moves up 20 feet to get a closer look, while brandishing his natural weapon!

My apologies for my absence as I have been extremely busy!

Is Dok close enough to unleash a Lightning Bolt to aid the twins ??? 

What is the proximity of enemies that Dok can attack with either Lightning Bolt or Spiritual Weapon ???

Dok leaned forward with his own direct question, "Are there any prisoners held captive by any Goblins or other dark creatures, such as your own species? If so, where are they hidden and how can we get to them to set them free?"

Dok arrived just in time to hear their foe exclaim in Goblin  “Ashtagatog!  Viligorg!” and although the Hill Dwarf Cleric of Helm was blocked by his companions from launching a direct attack against said foe, Dok was close enough to provide the translation!

The sounds of battle beyond the ledge drew Dok like a magnet as he climbed the remaining 25 feet as fast as he could, while he readied himself with his trusty battle axe to aid his companions, once he gained an advantageousl position beyond the ledge.

Dok muttered a prayer-laced curse at the Bug Bear, after his Guiding Bolt failed to hit its mark and began running as fast as he was able to run, without losing his footing on his upward trek, focusing on taking a defensive stance closer to his enemies!

The Hill Dwarf Cleric of Helm would not waste another spell as he chose to close into fighting range with his trusty battle axe!

I Just Do Not Have The Time

Dok climbed cautiously as he followed his companions who had rushed ahead after the Bug Bears, making sure that no adversaries caught them unawares from behind, as they all made their way ever closer to the ledge!

((OOC: Dok has his battle axe at the ready and he is also prepared to launch a Guiding Bolt if necessary, as long as it does not endanger any of his companions that are ahead of him. He is also prepared to unleash a Guiding Bolt if any attackers are following the adventurers from behind / below!))

Gonna take Dok a while to scale that cliff, especially being wary of any sneak attack from behind

Dok made sure that he collected the right ears of the 3 newly slain Goblins and as he collected the ear bounty, he glared at the Goblin who had escaped to the other side of the river.

The Hill Dwarf Cleric of Helm made it a point to stand up and glare at the Goblin across the river, making a menacing gesture with his knife as if cutting the Goblin's throat and then slicing off its right ear, before cautiously following his companions who were in pursuit of the retreating Bug Bears.

Dok makes sure that no enemies are trying to attack from behind, especially if the Goblin across the river decides to return and follow the group from behind. Dok also keeps aware of any ambushes ahead of him, or to either side as he follows his companions.

Dok was intent on collecting more right ears from slain Goblins, because the bounty for each right ear was worth 18gp back in Botkinburg!

The Hill Dwarf Cleric of Helm races forward as quickly as possible to collect right ears from slain Goblins, but he is also aware of his surroundings and ready to defend himself from any attacks, his battle axe at the ready!

His sack of previously collected right ears and his trusty knife are ready to receive!

Technically Uthal did not 'Steal' Dok's normal spot in the Line!

Turns out that Dok was actually in the front of the line, because of his action to get better positioning to attack the Goblins!

An unexpected rage rose up within the Hill Dwarf Cleric of Helm, as Dok unleased a Guiding Bolt against the surprised Goblins!

Dok was not about to allow this group to get the upper hand against either himself or his adventuring friends!

I see Nomad beat me to my post, which I have not read his update!

Dok nodded to Lilly as he took up a position in front of her on the journey along the path, having agreed to allow Uthal to take the Hill Dwarf Cleric of Helm's usual position at the back of the line.

Dok was itching for some payback against the Goblin foes and whatever else may show its ugly heads!

Dok was ready with a Guiding Bolt, hoping to get into a position where he had a clear shot, without endangering any one else in the adventuring party!

He also had a firm grip on his weapon, in case of a surprise!
