Hammer is referring to another game, not any of the ones we have been active in as D2 players.

I made a post yesterday on the main thread, but when I went over to read Nomad's post, mine was not there!

..... the adventure I am referring to is called Land of Xenophobia which is in the Yellow Recruitment Threads!

I am working on DMing a different 2e adventure and that is what I am referring to in the previous message.

Was just letting you guys know it was there in case any of you decided to participate and no hard feelings if you guys pass on the adventure!

My apologies for any confusion!

I am playing in several adventures on these boards and a couple of them have died out [including An Evil in Orlane] and in another adventure my Dwarf Wizard was impaled by ballistae bolts when a pirate ship attacked the ship he was travelling on!

So I have some space to give DMing an adventure a shot and I am going on vacation to the States in a couple of weeks and will have time to develop the adventure and get it started in August when I return!

Our game here in Oaks Heart is Alive and Well and I look forward to adventuring with you guys!

..... Hingatuli Hammer has a Weapon Proficiency with the Heavy Cross Bow ... so hopefully you are in agreement that he get at least one ... if not both ... Silver Bolts!

Anyone Else have a Cross Bow then Please Speak Up!

Silver Dagger would be good to have also ... but obviously Rat should have at least one of them and whoever else is proficient with Daggers!

Therefore, one or more Silver Bolts for my Heavy Cross Bow is all that I am asking for!

Guess I qualify for one of the Red Tubes and Dark Green Vials also!

Us two Dwarves could ride in a wagon together and have the 2 dogs, but I guess we should refer to those marching orders that Nomad/Anvil mentioned earlier!

Just trying to get the conversation started as to what we want to do!

Another thought is that Anvil could be in the lead wagon with whoever he chooses and the 2 dogs may be likely to run ahead of the lead wagon or stay close ... really depends upon what we have in the hunting hound department now!

So looks like with 3 wagons that Anvil and Hingatuli are taking the lead wagon, Rat and T'Sal the second and Trillian the third wagon!

Rat has - rope/grap hooks, wax/string, ribbons (for marking), lockpicks, tinder, flint, and pepper, along with the 40 GP he brought and the 1o he receiver.
He is presuming he will get a health vial.

..... our friend Anvil is also a Fighter and our leader it would logically seem to me that he would assign the items in his next post at Oaks Heart ... or if I get around to writing something before Nomad does I could suggest that Anvil distribute the items while Hingatuli Hammer negotiates for which side of the wagon he would prefer riding on!

Yikes! I think I need to go read the game thread - I seem to have missed out on a lot!

Ok, it looks like you guys have managed to get things sorted out. I will quickly post on the other forum - but this is what I think will go. Please note that I will probably not see a computer until Tuesday (maybe) so feel free to change this - it is based off of previous posts here and on the other thread.

Marching order seems set and posted

Arrows - Anvil has a short bow. So does one of the elves. Split the arrows?
Bolts - Hammer has the crossbow
Daggers - thief and two elves. I don't think Anvil is even proficient with a dagger so he'd be a waste.

I believe that leaves each of us with at least one silver weapon.

Love the Rat's idea about Holy Water.

Dogs - I think the Rat is right - lets assign each toa person. As a fighter up front Anvil is a logical choice - he'll take Sprinkles. Hammer is the next most likely to be close to combat - so he can get Muffin. The one possible consideration here is that Rat might not want to be right in the fight - nor would he have spells to cast, so he might be well suited to a dog - then again wolfhounds don't help one sneak around. Anyway, my post will say Hammer, but whatever.

Well, I thought I posted on the other thread a couple days ago in response to all of this, but I guess not. It really all is the stuff listed above - plus Anvil will be riding in the front wagon with his bow out and an arrow (non-silver) at the ready.

I pretty sure almost everyone is up to speed. Just waiting on SD to update and move the story along.

Enjoyable thus far, but hoping we pick up speed as we get accustomed to one another. I think the flow of the game will pick up once we get into the core of the adventure, so I'm looking forward to it.
