Battlestar Galactica: Q&A for The Shoulders of Atlas

This is the Q&A thread for Shoulders of Atlas.

Please submit a general character description and personality profile here, but only include information that would be readily available through word of mouth.

the character's service record, psych profile and any criminal history should be submitted through PM to myself, and access to such information will be limited to those with proper clearance.

This will be a free-form game. Things to think about when making your character are the following. Keep in mind this is a personality profile from before the cylon attack.

Character's rank. I have figured up the following rank structure for the Colonial Military. This may be incomplete but should work ok.

Admiral - In charge of a fleet.
Commander - Commands a ship of the line like a Battlestar.
Colonel - Commands the infantry and marine detachment aboard a military vessel and typically is the Executive Officer on a Battlestar.
Major - Generally the department head of a division, for example the CAG or chief engineer is usually a Major.
Captain - leader of a Viper squadron or a division head, such as Air Support Division.
Lieutenant - Pilot or bridge crew standard. Also a company head for a platoon.
Master Chief - Chief enlisted officer of a department, such as Flight Group or Engineering.
Chief - Work Station Supervisor.
Crewman / Sergeant - standard military personnel.

It would be assumed that most players would be officers, but I am not stopping folk fro0m playing enlisted personnel.

Is/does your character...

hate or fear cylons?

have faith in the gods?

able to kill other humans?

suffering from some mental instability?

trustworthy?

a coward?

a drinker?

a Stim user?

deserve to be one of the survivors?
