Pearls

It would be hard to carry around more than one Black Pearl, that's a big ship!

Can I assume that I started with at least a small stash of the needed material components for my spells?

In my case: a few drops of mercury, some fleece, and colored dust.

M.

absolutely

Like I said, I'm assuming that all casters have a supply of commonly available materials.

BTW, Merideth - we left your spellbook off of your character sheet. I'll add it to my copy.

yay zombies!

The score:

Two zombies dead. Two more injured (the one near Syana injured quite badly). Eight new zombies have appeared from the woods, back the way the party came from.

The only injury right now *is* Syana, who is hurt pretty badly.

...

Erk. It looks like we really shouldn't have made fun of Olan's critters...

To quote a phrase ...

from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, when the knight was confronted with the legendary Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog:

Run away! Run awsaay!

And I just gotta do this:
DM posted:
... Unfortunately for it, Neri was there, her blade seeming to flash brightly with Oriana's light. The paladin's stroke was swift and sure, and the creature fell dead, cut almost in twain.
The creature fell dead? Or deader? Wasn't it already dead?

I think it's possible I just may have insured my character's demise ...

gluttons, I say...

Gluttons for punishment. First, they ask for more monsters. Now, they complain about my descriptions of monster defeats. What next? "My sword is too pointy?"

I mean, if you have a problem with the zombie now being dead (instead of undead), I could let it be raised again. Would that make ya happy?

No

I stalk the 'Buried Secrets' posts. I literally refresh every few minutes to see if someone has posted before logging off.

Well...

If I recall correctly, it was Kilmorrigan who wanted more monsters and wanted me to not turn them, so I guess that means I'll leave him be with his monsters... ^_^

By the way... does the added monsters make this a 'new' encounter?

On another note, the wolf is Shianna's companion, NOT Syana's.

Oboy

Figures.

My own words thrown back to taunt me.

Okay, the wolf is with the cleric (druid?), not the bard. Got it.

Mister DM? Sir? I was told that you would be a fun and entertaining DM. You have not failed that description. Please do not misunderhend or misapprestand my feeble attempts at humor as criticism of your skills ...
Do I need to grovel some more?
emybear? Does that mean your posts here don't include you as one of us "you guys" that post so often?

My reply to the "new encounter" thing

Would likely get me smitten (smited? smote?), so

Tho' I am seriously silly-stupid-tired, I shall refrain from further baiting and nod for the nite.

I shall await new posts (and hopefully a still-living character) on the morrow -- oir whenever ...
