Well Isilmiri am not for attacking. , Causing a distraction I could understand. For Isilmiri she is still unsure of what is going on and the words in the old sage's of mage's journal area puzzle that have many possible answers and since she has no idea still which is the right answer she would refrain from an attack unless lives were threatened. Since they are unarmedm I would not attack. Sneaking in though is possible and we could create a disturbance and probably would considering the difficulty you are in. But unfortunately for you Driscoll we cann't communicate with you directly and will have to work out our plan between Tamuril and myself.

I'm not sure if this is considered meta-gaming (around our tables it's not so...), but I have a couple suggestions for you, Brianna and Dragon Mistress. You definitely don't have to go with them... I'm not even sure how well they'll work. Anyway, take them for what they're worth.

I noticed Tami has flare and ghost sound on her spell list, as well as silent image. Any one of those three could turn out to be a great distraction.

Also, Tami has Comprehend Languages. Maybe cast that and see what these two are talking about. That might help us understand what's going on here.

The only problem I see with using any of these spells is I'm not sure how much noice Tami needs to make to cast them, seeing as she is a bard and all.

Our ranger friend has an Entangle spell. Does that work underground? That may prove helpful, though I find entangle spells dangerous in that they can trap friends as well as foes really easily.

I also have a Levitate potion which I have no qualms about using if I need to get out of a tight spot. How tall are the ceilings here, Almerin? Is that posted somewhere? I'll go back and check.

Spells for distraction could work, but that would immediately notify the lizards of some kind of presence. Or maybe that's the idea.

Update is in. I'm sorry things are getting on so slow, but I've had the most busy weeks lately, and will continue to be busy over the next period. I hope I'll be able to finish ths adventure without too many hiccups.

I need something to continue this. I need intentions and actions otherwise you'll be spying on these creatures forever.

Ayrn is right: I can't do anything besides write: the group moves back into the tunnel. For future posting it would be handier to assume the group moves back after your request, so you can add what it is you wanted to discuss. I really can't update in any kind of way on a single line post.
Or the idea should be to post frequently, otherwise this is going to take forever.

I'm getting the idea that this adventure is fizzling out of existence slowly. We are so very close to the conclusion. Let's try to remain focused please. I need actions or intentions in order to continue. This will not be a wait-and-see sort of ending, unless you guys are willing to spend another month down the tunnel to see every move and hear every word these creatures have to say. And if you intend to do that: tell me, so I can put in an update that spans a month. But at least give me something to work with.

and it seems you guys are getting somewhere... but I'm not giving away secrets that easily, though you are definitely thinking the right direction.

I haven't posted because Isi and Tami seem to be doing a fine job with negotiations and this seems like one of those back and forth posting times between a DM and a player.

I will say that I'm super impressed at how quickly this dialogue has gone through. I'm trying to process the information thus far... haven't figured out your secret yet, Almerin. You're too cunning and crafty, you are!
