ps3? pffft

I'm waiting for the Wii to come out. Might not have better graphics or an as strong engine, but by god it has so much fun stuff on it. Wifi connection, motion censored games, free internet stuff, its great.

Oops!

Almost forgot to keep on subject!

The last time I truly cried was when I watched Mystic River... I can't relate to the anguish one feels when you discover your own child has been murdered but Sean Penn made me feel it. I didn't let my daughters out of my sight for a looooong time after seeing that flick and I probably spoiled the crap right out of 'em, too.

And on my Christmas list... a down payment on a new truck would be nice... If Santa's buying, though, let's just shoot for the whole truck, shall we?

Santa Claus is coming to town!!

Since my hubby & I have no children we usually get what we want throughout the year so there's not a lot I want when Christmas rolls around but if I HAD to choose I'd LOVE to wake up to a 2007 Shelby Mustang GT...white with blue stripes...but if that doesn't happen then I'll be happy with "Pirates Of The Carribbean 2" on DVD

Booze and world peace

i've hoping to get a copy of 3ds max (3d modeling app used for games.) and a chance to upgrade my comp, and a chance to spend some time at fort snelling. Also i need a job and a cheap geo metro to get around in.

P.S can I have the Uzi then?

Please!

I'm Canadian. Do you know how much paperwork I would have to fill out and file to be allowed to have the uzi? FAC, RSL, Collector's permit, Gun club Registration

And then to buy ammo! Three times the amount of paperwork, plus notices of intention to use said ammo.

Then after that I would have to register, have a security check run on me, as so on.

I settle for a case of whip cream and a bottle of Vodka.

Stuff

Ammo for an Uzi is easy to get. They use 9mm pistol ammo. You can buy it at pretty much any sporting goods store.

I already got myself my Christmas presents - well the ones I'm likely to actually get, anyway: My pretty new rapier/main gouche set and my pretty new flintlock pistol.

Of course, if we pull out all the stops, and get to ask for anything - I'll take a time machine. Barring that, I'll take being able to spend it with Leah this year...

My plans involve going broke and hurling myself into over-the-top celebrations in the vain hopes of forgetting how horrifically depressed I tend to get around this time of year.

avrielle asked about plans. So...

We have plans for Christmas. We're going to America. We'll fly to Atlanta airport, spend about 3 days in Georgia and North Carolina (in my hometowns), then start travelling to Alabama to meet Olan for a day. Then we'll head up to Tennessee to the Smoky Mountains, where we've rented a beautiful cabin to stay in for 3 nights (over New year's Eve and day, btw), and then after that we'll travell back down through North Carolina and Georgia and back to Atlanta Airport.

A 13 day trip. Should be a fun time.

(O)

I have plans all the way up until the second week of december and then it's nothing. Kind of depressing, like looking at a cliff. I hope I can scrounge up something to do the week of Christmas to distract me from missing my family and traditions. My hubbie's family does nothing for Christmas and they only revived Sinterklaas on Dec 6th for my sake but it's still not the same.

no plans

Fan the trip sounds like LOADS of fun!!! Wish I could go and I LIVE here!!
Anyhoo, have a grand time and be careful.

Av, what is Sinterklaas ?

Don't be depressed. You can still do all your traditional stuff just for you and hubby. I'm very seldom with my family at Christmas and I live only 7 hours away by car.
It's just me & my hubby and the cats and we really enjoy it that way. Last year we didn't get each other anything(mainly cuz I was out of work) but we did buy a bunch of toys for our cats. We wrapped them up and gave them to them on Christmas morning. We had a ball watching them tear into them. They wore themselves out by noon.
