Blind date?

Nope... I have been on a date or two that I don't remember, though... does that count?

Questions

Have you ever been on a blind date?

Sort of. I met my husband on the internet. Which means when we eventually met we were both scared the other wasn't going to be what we had thought. Thank goodness we were both honest (and not axe murderers).

met on line?

You were very lucky finding your true love on line.
I'm glad it worked out good. So many times lately it doesn't with all the predators out there.

The older I get, the happier I am with the choices I made in my life, especially when it comes to who I married
I can't imagine being with anyone who would love me more, especially after knowing all my quirks

odd, computer set up our blind date, lol

It was incidental. He was running a website for teachers that I became a member of. I made it a project of mine to write back and forth with teachers all around the globe and ended up writing to him along with ten other people internationally who teach, he's the one who is not a teacher and yet he and I became much more than e-pals.

New QUESTION...

what's the details behind your posting name?

Mine is a long story.
Lyskhala is a name given to a character I created a while back. The character's real name was Aedyn Dai but she was given the name Lyskhala as an inititaion into an elite group of priests. She was actaully the very first female to become a member. Lyskhala means "she who paints with words"

The name Lyskhala was bestowed upon her by none other than our own Eol Fefalas...who, at the time was known as Chdau

Posting/Forum name...

Actually, "Eol Fefalas" is probably one of the most unimaginitive names I've ever come up with because, technically (as Admiral figured out some weeks ago), it's nothing more than my own "real" name plugged into some elven name generator I discovered a while back. In all honesty, I put the "Eol Fefalas" name on specifically for this site to start with... Had been lurking for a while but had yet to "join" and, when I finally decided that I was ready to post and such, I pulled the "Eol" off the generator and used it for my "forum name"... Of course, the character of Eol Fefalas developed to become much more than it's relatively unimaginitive beginning and when I decided to drag "The Tale of the Wishgranter" out of mothballs, I ended up doing a fairly extensive re-write and replaced the original "lead character" (Ch'dau, ironically enough) with the one I had developed around the Eol Fefalas name... *shrugs*... Inspiration comes from wierd places, don'tchaknow!

The truth about Angela Boersma-Veneziano and Avrielle

what's the details behind your posting name?

Avrielle -Made it up, and I use it in many forums on many sites. Avrielle was also my very first online RPG character, a really cool alien priestess in NewWorlds RPG.

Avrielle is:

A -Angela
V -Veneziano

and the part of Gabrielle I like most -rielle (hate Gabby)

If I had a girl, I would probably name her that.

Alacrity Fitzhugh

Alacrity Fitzhugh is a character in a series of books by Brian Daley. I "stole" the name for a half elven Ranger I played for awhile. I am not into being a player so I decide to play Alacrity completely insane. I figured if I couldn't be in control as the DM, I would wrestle control from him with my character. So in a simple murder mystery module, I had Alacrity accusing people of being the killer, stealing horses and leaving them around town, and spreading rumours that I was the leader of a vast anti-slavery organization, come to free the people. Not that there were any slaves.

Anyway, Alacrity is the complete opposite of me in real life, so if I am gonna have an alternate persona - I would like it to be a wild and crazy guy - Alacrity.

complete opposite?

I wonder how many of our characters are the complete opposite of us?

When I created Aedyn Dai, I crafted her to be my opposite but when she became Lyskhala, she started changing into who I am now.

I guess that's what it's all about huh? Being someone you aren't in real life...being able to let go and do things you wouldn't normally do. It's freedom to be and do the things you are afraid to for one reason or another
