Yes indeed...

...when I originally started penning the Tale of the Wishgranter it was quite a different story, actually. A greater majority of it played out in and around Bella Moon and Ch'dau was cast in the "hero" role. After I started developing the Eol character though (and, consequently, expanding and defining the world of Bhriuthainn)the story took a bit of a turn and twist and, IMHO, became much better than the original.

Anyhoo, as far as characters being "opposites" of our "real life" selves, I'd say you can safely argue on both sides of that... Sure, we might put on characters that do and say things that we might never actually do or say IRL and, to that end, it could be that our characters might be defined as our opposites... buuuuuuuut... We are writing/playing these characters and even though we may never actually do the things our characters are doing, the "thoughts, ideas, and actions" do come from our own brains/imaginations, don't they? So are we truly opposites or are we simply exploring that "darker side" of our own personalities that we wouldn't let see the light of day here on planet Earth?

complicated answer

Natalie is opposite of me, in a way. When I am comfortable (like in writing forums) I am not shy, and can actually be an extrovert. I appear that way to people in RL also but really, inside I feel very shy and am a little too sensitive, let things bother me too much, worry too much about other people and their reactions to me...so I guess Natalie actually is a lot like me but I am better at hiding my insecurities than she is.

What's my name?!!

Where does my name come from? Because I have the same name as Pope John Paul so I'm the pope or at least a dead one.

arghhh

I'm not adjusting well to the realization that summer is over. Somebody knock me out until spring!

Makes me think of a question:
What's your favorite season? Mine is summer.

autumn

I like the fall myself. The colours of the leaves and the coolness in the air that makes a sweater feel good but not quite needing a jacket. I love being at a friend's cottage and walking through the bush, feeling the wind and enjoying the scenery.

Autumn is the best :)

Autumn is my favorite as well.

I love the crispness of the air and how vivid the sky is, the crunch of leaves under my feet, the earthy colors and that musty smell of old leaves. It's truly magical.

There's something different about the sunlight too. It seems so pure. Autumn never fails to inspire my muse

Rock on indeed

You go, Death-y

No offense taken. I get in those moods too every once in a while. I find it helps me blow off some steam by writing a batch of nonsensical porn, lol, but some people do it your way instead and that's cool too.

That said, what the heck were we just talking about?

Abductions? Does that count the times I volunteered to go?

Join the club. None of us understand what's going on. This thread is a bunch of our nonsensical rantings, ain't it great?
