I have a family emergency; my grandmother is expected to pass within a few days.

I'm flying out tonight, and there is no computer where I will be staying.

Please keep my family in your prayers and/or good wishes; the best hope now is that she will go peacefully and painlessly.

I'll be back and posting when I return and regain the proper frame of mind.

Divot will be here when you return I just hope as you said she goes quietly, no one deserves the memory of pain to follow them into death.

Thanks so much for the warm words, folks. Unfortunately, my grandmother passed last night (Sunday).

The service is going to be Wednesday. Not sure when I'll be flying back, and not sure when I'll feel like playing again when I do get back.

My parents divorced when I was 3, and I was mostly raised by my grandparents, so I was very close to them. Even though we knew this was coming, it is still a very hard time for me, and it's going to take some time to get past this.

But knowing I have friends like you guys helps a lot.

I'll talk at you again soon; my cousin has a computer now, so I have Net access while I'm down here.
