That's rather immature as well, Loki. We don't even know the specifics of the weapon, much less whether or not we can actually use it just yet. It may be an heirloom that isn't in working order due to its age, set so that it doesn't work unless a specific chip is nearby, or other mechanisms or things may be in place for the gun to only work for its owner. Regardless, now is hardly the time to squabble over who can use what.

Worry about it after we're clear of the station, when your character actually knows the gun was picked up in the first place.

Premature...

I think the word you were looking for, Reralae, was "premature", not "immature".

It's premature to worry about the pistol Ara picked up because none of the rest of your characters are with her and, I suspect, that when she does return to your PCs, your PCs will be more concerned about get off the station than about what Ara scored out of the IRR's office.

However, let me weigh in on this, so that we're clear, and so that this doesn't ship-wreck your party unity:

1) Unless I specifically say that something is "group treasure", nothing is. For instance, in the opening posts, Maya offered the original three players a certain amount of credits (which Ara currently holds). I expect at the end of the adventure Ara will make sure Ithiria gets her fair share.

However, the unknown amount of creds remaining on the two sticks Ara just found are hers... I don't expect her to share any of the items she just found.

Similarly, Hako'ib has a suit of Storm Trooper armor (which Ara is currently borrowing). If he sells it, I don't expect him to share the credits.

2) Don't get caught up with the stuff! While there may be stuff lying all around, consider whether or not your characters really need it. I know we (as players) have all grown up in a materialistic/ consumeristic culture of owning and hoarding more and more stuff, but try to remember the feel of the original Star Wars movies or, if you like, the Lord of the Rings trilogy. You just don't see people slugging around loads and loads of stuff.

In fact, more stuff, in this game, can get you into trouble. For instance, the reason I wanted to know if Ara was carrying up her shoulder bag was because, if she was, Ara's percentage of being noticed would have increased. (STs with shoulder bags? Come on! Everything about STs is standard issue! )


Anyway, don't worry about the stuff. Star Wars is not about the "cool" stuff like in DnD (at least, not in my game). Keep it simple, is my philosophy!

Outside of all that, haha, I REALLY excited to see how this last scene of Chapter 1 plays out for us! There's so many possibilities now.

And not just for this last scene, but also for side plots and other nifty, intiguing adventures. Can't wait!!!

Just some playful fun



Perhaps I should have put in some smilies with my last message to make it clear I was joking, I don't epect Ara to share any of her treasure with Hako'ib.

Just to clarify my characters intenstions to treasure, if he can grab it and carry it away he considders it his. He's not too worried about getting a share of group treasure as long as all his stuff is in good working order, he has lived on a space station for the last 4 years, it's not like he's going to want to hord things but he is't going to turn his nose up at something that could help him improve his gear.

That said Hako'ib is planning on selling the ST armor if he can find the items he's interested in buying.

I'm looking forward to the closing of this chapter as well, Hako'ib is trying to work out how he can tip of the Imps to the Jin-Gul Gang. I asume he knows where their hideout is, roughly.

No worries, Loki. I wasn't too bothered by it.

I don't think money will be much of a problem. Unless your character is wearing armour there isn't too much to buy that costs a lot.

I was thinking about the proabilities of having the back section of the ST armor removed so Hako'ib can wair the armor but I don't think he'd want to look like a stormie anyway.

He can't wair armor so it's besides the point.

Ara and stuff

Sorry, Ginafae, I should have made this more clear… you can’t actually take everything from the desk, unless you are planning on holding on to some of the stuff. All your packs are full when you step into the office. You’ll have one empty after you get rid of the explosive and timer, but that’s it.

I’ll allow the cred chips and the three code cylinders to be stored in the same pouch as your other cred sticks. But you’ll have to choose one of the following combinations for the empty pouch:

4 holoprojector cylinders OR
2 holoprojector cylinders and a lightsaber OR
2 holoprojector cylinders and a glow lamp OR
A glow lamp and a lightsaber.

So much for our plan, although I can't say I didn't see it going smoothly. No matter what we decided on you weren't going to let us just walk out of this one.

Never mind, maybe we can come up with something cleaver on our way down, and we do have an advantage, Ara can be our secret weapon and blast a stormtrooper from behind of she isn't in too much danger herself (Like standing to one side or the back or something).

Some important notes


Okay! Okay! Some important notes for you:

1) Time elapsed: 12 minutes have past by on the timer. 18 minutes left ‘til BOOM-BOOM-POW!

2) PARTY OF THREE [Ithiria, Karra, Hako’ib]: Your comm units do not work in the Elevator. Which is to say, the special comm. unit Ithiria has doesn’t work, nor does Hako’ib’s encrypted one. Karra doesn’t have one, if I’m not mistaken.

3) Timing of events: Ara’s meeting in the Security Station is happening at the SAME time as the party of three’s ride up the elevator. As the party of three steps onto Blue Deck, the storm troopers have just left the briefing room and are heading to their assigned stations.

4) PARTY OF THREE: You have NO knowledge of #4. Only Ara knows this. Currently, the three of you are simply standing near the elevators. No storm troopers are in sight.

5) PARTY OF THREE: You may come up with a plan of what you are going to do once you hit Blue Deck, though your plan must that place before Deck N09 (when the maintenance workers step on), so make it simple. Five decks it not a lot of time.

6) ARA: As the party of three steps onto the deck, you can see them on the display monitors.

7) Outside of that… any questions?
