If I recall correctly...

...we have Discovery's "main" security office placed on deck 9.

(Okay... it wasn't 15 or 5... It's early...)

Also...

...for the record, DM didn't necessarily give a precise position for Ens LaRue, either.

From her boarding post timestamp and location (Main Shuttlebay) I've been under the assumption that the encounter between LaRue and Briggs has been tacking place on Deck 4... Didn't note in the post that LaRue boarded a lift or anything, so, Briggs and LaRue are likely somewhere close to the Main Shuttlebay.

If it helps either of you at all, play it as Briggs got notification of his new Security officer coming aboard and went to Deck 4 to "find her" and help get her pointed in the right direction.

Note: Ops (or any other dept, for that matter) can be contacted via your combadge and/or accessing the computer... No need to go to the actual office.

yup

Thanks for that info, DM - but do note that the deck layouts, plus a lot more info about the ship, is available from the links posted on page one of this thread.

TY

The reason I did not give my location as being where Lt Briggs talked to me, in the post the lead to his, I was still at the computer terminal near where I entered. When I found out that he posted to me I edited my post to include getting to where he meet me. (whereever it is now)

Random Trek Note

It's true... you can use your combadge to talk to any department on the ship, you never actually have to -go- anywhere, and in those rare cases where you actually do need to go somewhere there are teleporters and turbolifts. No stairs, even on the bridge there is a ramp to get from the upper level to the big ol' Captain's chair.

Is anyone else confused why everyone on board is so... thin?

type casting

those are still pretty long corridors. Also it seems people don't really need console games with the holodeck technology so they get their workout by playing video games. What an awesome concept for gamers.

Must be the good food and the Gym workoouts

Hope the computer can do marshmellows. I have decided Ensign La Rue has a thing for barbaque and Cajun cooking, and toasted marshmellows, and Som'ores and has as a small portable grill, hence the rolling bag. Now some mesquite charcoal from the replicator and Weeeeeeee

Post Locations

In my post, I gave the location Lt. Briggs talked to Ens. La Rue as being 'at the terminal she tried to look up her quarters at'. He knew she'd be coming on board, after all...

Besides, I think most people get their exercise by trying to dodge all the exploding console fires

much ado about nothing

As far as that goes, I don't think anyone is terribly worried over which terminal or exact section of hallway is in question. Feel free to take creative license, here! sure, some things are pretty set in stone - the location of the bridge, main engineering, sickbay, the department head offices... but feel free to improvise as need be.

I get the feeling

That Nick's going to be the councellor's second victim...

...right after his first conversation about his rage control techniques Unless he talks about it with Jack. Jack'd probably appreciate how he does it*-)
