Post

I have my post written, but it's hand written so it'll take me some time to type up and at the moment I neither have the will or time to do that.

I should be able to post it up on Sunday

Well

I don't know what to expect now, people. I'm used to posting weekly, on Saturday. Now I'm not very available this weekend, so my update for group one is scheduled for Sunday. Seeing how Usso and Vanadia haven't posted yet, there isn't much to update for this group yet.

I will wait. But once we're further into the game, I cannot handle irregularity in posting anymore, since this might mean you slow down the other group as well. I have a responsibility as a DM, you guys have a whole week to post. That should be enough time, right?

I forgot to mention that I really enjoyed Deucalion's post as well. Great writing so far!!

Understood!

It's the character sheet that's holding me up, but I should be able to post before Sunday. Once that's done, regular posts should not be an issue.

My apologies to the group!

ETA: Done! Character sheet yet to be done, but I saw that only an introductory post was required. Hope y'all like it!

indeed!!

Very nice introduction.

I can totally work with what I have so far! Great writing everyone.
I'm waiting on Loki and Usso though. But, the other group is keeping me waiting as well. Must be the busy period.

It would be good if we could get in the missing posts before the end of the week. My guess is that the holidays will either take people away from the inn, or give them so much spare time that they will be on 24/7.
Myself, I will be staying in Rome starting december 18th. Next update should be in this week. Otherwise I'll probably be able to squeeze in one more update until the second weekend in January. So, if today I can't update the game, then hopefully I will sometime soon.

holidays

I'll have more time in the holidays, I'm not much of a fan of Christmas or family get togethers and the like so I'll be in my room with the inn for company. Anyone else who dislikes this period is very welcome to join me.

hmmm...

I find it interesting that all the members of our party (so far, as we've not yet heard from Usso), are in some way shamed. Vanadia's Rerra has not been accepted into the Runemaster community for her gender, especially since the death of her father. Deucalion's Bohen lives above the surface with other races and has short hair. And Loki's Gloin (if that's still the name... its not in the post and he spoke of changing it) doesn't belong in the Khordal community - and even prefers Sylvari! Anyways, I just thought it was curious to see all of our characters as outcasts in some way. Also, all the men have problems with their beards, probably not the most popular thing amidst the Khordaldrum.

Looking good everybody!

sorry, my character's name is still Gloin. Gimble is his brother, I'll just make it clear in my post.

haha

Next time, read the update first, and then be joyful. You can never be too cautious.

I'm kidding. I'm glad people are enthusiastic. I hope you still are after reading.

*cough*

'I mean'

'Aim for the head boys, crossbows ready, and... where did everything go? Blasted dust, this never happens on the surface!'

i'ma lookin and i'ma likin

Mmm fun! Still liking it Almerin, maybe even more now, there's nothing like a big crunchy spider to start the game off!

A couple quick questions before I start thinking about things.

What's mobility like, what with a crowd of Khords trying to escape all at once and a collapsed wall, &c...

Also, I'm guessing it doesn't look familiar or like any previous enemies (even to Gloin I mean he should've atleast heard of Shelob... okay okay bad joke).

Umm... and other than that no questions for now boss. I'll try to get a post up in the next little while. Got exams and Alacrity's game to think about but I will hurry towards getting a good post out for this game.

This is not anything that any of you have ever seen before. Heard of maybe... It's not a spider, I can tell you that.

Mobility is not too difficult, but you cannot move more than half speed the first round, or until you break free from the crowd moving the other direction.

Ack! I'd better get that character sheet done!

It's been kinda crazy with holiday prep, and anyone who knows me knows that the character's personality and background come first, then i get around to silly little details like armour, weapons, spells/prayers, etc.

As for all of us being Khord "outcasts" or misfits, to me, it only makes sense. If you read up on the culture (particularly the place of women), they are so centered on the good of the tribe and the rules of society that any Khord how adventures has a whiff of "different" about them.

And I have never played a typical anything

here we go.

That is true, and i think adventurers in general (not just Khord ones) usually find themselves being a little abnormal, its more fun that way. And I'm with you, I'm all for the strange characters, it just gets boring otherwise!

So my response post is up. I've assumed its scuttled way down some tunnel behind the building and is completely not follow-able into combat. I realize only now that this may have been an incorrect assumption. If this is so then please forgive me and I will begin to rewrite Odin's valiant drawing and charging.

Again, late and between exams haha but soon I will be free from this whole "school" business. Oh right then holidays start. That means even less inn. Don't worry I'm here and excited to see what happens next. Looking forward to it guys (and gal)!

ps. Its not written into the post and i'll find a place to insert it soon but I think it only makes sense that Odin will have drawn his rapier at this point.

coolness

I'll be able to read your post somewhere in the coming week. My update might be there on Tuesday or Wednesday, depending on my plans. If people don't find the time to post before then, don't worry. These two weeks leading up to Christmas/Newyears will be busy.
