I am pleased to see some Very Nice posts from everyone. Now I dont plan to update till this weekend, probably late Sat .. so I would like to see some talk among the team after Tarse has left them. Some plans made, etc. So try and get your group ready to travel and make sure you have stated your destination.

I won't be able to post before next week, since I'm away on a skiing holiday for the weekend. I might be able to answer any questions on how Danamar might react on something or what his opinion on some idea might be. So you throw questions at my way too.

I agree. Danamar hasn't heard anything that would give the group any reason to use some other route than the one they've used previously.

There was nothing in the briefing that should lead you to believe that another route is necessary.

Im just looking for some posts stating what your next moves are going to be. At the moment someone has mentioned leaving in the morning.. but no one else has responded to that or offered suggestions. If your group doesnt get out of the room and on it's way my post will be quite insubstantial other than describing the briefing room you are all sitting in.

Ok since there hasnt been any directions stated yet for after the meeting.. I wont be posting anything yet. I need to see what preparations, if any, the group is making prior to setting out. So you have another week to talk amongst yourself and state your travel intentions. I plan to post next weekend, probably Sat evening.

Is the Militia lending us horses for these missions? What kind of saddles? Regular? Military? Basic saddlebags presumably if so?

And if not... Someone want to buy me a horse?

Just kidding! Ok you have a basic horse, not a war steed, with a basic riding saddle. If you wanted better than you should have bought one.

If anyone else forgot a mount then you would also have the same.

I had incorrectly assumed we had horses assigned.
As such, I sold off some other equipment and am buying a horse for Daldren, and resubmitted the character sheet to account for such before we really get underway.
Pending Yeolde's acceptance that is.

Mendez also does not have a horse. I was wondering if maybe we could do one of two things:

1) Mendez rides behind one of the other characters on their horse.

2) That one of the other characters (maybe, Tariel or Ellessarea), being far more in the know about horses and such, helped Mendez purchase a good quality horse to ride and the equipment needed. This other character also takes care of Mendez' horse's upkeep (or ensures some stableboy is doing it). Mendez would, of course, reimburse said character for the service provided. What do you say... any takers?

Otherwise I think Mendez will be going with the Guild provided mount. He's not a horse guy, preferring to walk.

Mendez will have a horse.. a simple riding horse (a mare) with normal saddle and tack, including saddle bags. It is a gentle horse and not trained other than for riding.

As for upkeep, all he has to do it pay a stable to house it for him while he is not using it.. it's cheap and I think he can afford that.

Walking is fine in the city but he will need it if he wishes to keep up with the others on the road.

Your post is fine, if you have time to post more fine.. if not I can go with what you said you were doing and then retrieving your mount and meet them at the gate in the morning.
