Things just got interesting...

You have maybe ten minutes before total collapse, based on how fast timbers are breaking as the roof gives way down the drift toward you.

homage

For those of you who are new to the game, the player who created Asher was called Blammm. He left the linn when his wife was diagnosed with a brain tumour and I often think of him and how he is doing now. So the use of his ID for the gunfire was an homage to him. Odyson has done an excellent job of keeping the uniqueness of the character alive today.

The "slow motion" description of the combat was inspired by Sherlock Holmes 2, A Game of Shadows which I was watching the night before I wrote the post.

Celeste! Loki! Your chance to join the game is coming soon.

Hooooray!

I'm ready boss!

Also: use of Blammm's name is way spiff. I hope that things are going well in his world. Maybe in the very least all of us thinking about him in the ether will give him a warm fuzzy feeling, even if it's just for a little while.

Glad you enjoyed it.

The next one should prove to be nearly as exciting.

Ding Dong The Witch Is Dead..........

Sweet story........... or as the kids would say, lol.

So much to write about!

Now we need to get Sam and Willow out and everyone up the ladder.

So Where's "Big John" when you need him!!!

"And a miner said there's a light up above,
Then Twenty men scrambled from a would be grave,
And now 'sthere only one left down there to save, Big John!"

Clarification please.

If I'm reading this right there's really only two options left to the crew caught in the cave in:

1. Try our luck dragging Wolf down the long, old shaft to the old elevator (the way we came down, right?), or...

2. Head back to the buried treasure, and the rest of the crew, hope that we can be let back in, then hope that someone out there in the city we just shot up will have the where-with-all to find some way to dig us out before we all run out of air. Or, hope that there's some way within the shuttle to get ourselves out.

So, my questions are:

- Which way is a shorter distance to move the big injured mechanic?
- Can Wyatt quickly ascertain the extent to which Fenris is injured, and just how soon he's going to need medical attention? Also, would it be quicker to get Fenris to Willow, or try to get him topside to the doc?

Love this game, Roger. Thank you.

Let me sum up

Wolf is mobile, he does not need carrying. He is at half life points right now. Like mal still fighting even though he had been stabbed badly. So he looks worse than he is. Sam is revivable with a stimulant or even smelling salts.

The options are as follow:

1) Panic and run around like chickens in a mine shaft

2) Get Willow, Sam and Brigit and get up the old shaft as fast as you can manage. Brigit will have to be carried or Doctor will have to hit her with a stim.

3) Everyone head down into secret room and wait it out, hoping like hell that someone comes to bury you out.

4) Half and half, shove the beaten and the sleepy into the secret room and the rest escape to get help to dig them out.

Your questions:
1. Try our luck dragging Wolf down the long, old shaft to the old elevator (the way we came down, right?), or...

The way Wolf and Ash came down. You took the new elevator and came down the drift.

- Which way is a shorter distance to move the big injured mechanic?

The Old shaft is right there so definitely the shortest route.

- Can Wyatt quickly ascertain the extent to which Fenris is injured, and just how soon he's going to need medical attention? Also, would it be quicker to get Fenris to Willow, or try to get him topside to the doc?

Willow is nearby and has her kit. Fenris, if he lets you examine him took three bullets but two were stopped by his ribcage and a third was a through and through without hitting an artery. He needs patching but you keep running and when you can't run, you crawl and when you can't crawl anymore ... well you know the rest.

I wonder

Hi all. Looking forward to my guy joining the crew, or at least what may or may not be left of it after this one.

I know what my guy would do. Option 1 please. Caves and mines give him the willies.

option 1????

Chickens in a mineshaft!!! Guys, don't put John Ryan in charge of the ship, or shuttle or buying food.

Heck, I am sure the Wyatt Sung has gotten out of worse scraps that this in the war, with less supplies, less men and less time. I bet if Chuck Norris was in the situation, he'd call Wyatt.

lol

John is perfectly responsible with ships, he was a pilot once. Just don't trust him with any money... or let him 'teach' you how to parachute.

*snickersnortguffaw*

Here's an interesting fact about Chuck Norris that didn't make the internet... Wyatt Sung kicked his pi gu!

As to the collapsing mineshaft... might I suggest the zen approach? "Be the mineshaft." *wink*

Right peaceable like.

For the record, I'm glad that Pearson got done for in such a horrific fashion... Yay, karma!

I'm pulling for the rest of ya, though... maybe even Brigit a little.
