Ok my bad

My Pistols are 93R's not 97R's as they don't exist in the real world. And as for rate of fire it only has single shot and burst. But as you can see there is a small folding grip on the front to give it balance when shooting burst. I'm trying to decide what would be better the JC assault Rifle or my pistols as I have a 6d in general and a 12d in pistols.

yes

I called them 97 because this is the future....

Give me some time to work out your answers please. The rules are very very general and I have had very little sleep in the last two days. I will try to get you concrete answers soon.

No problem

Sorry about so many questions, just in a Serenity frame of mind at the moment.

I'm off to see Pacific Rim in about an hour anyway so you have more then enough time my friend. Again sorry for being a "want to know it all"

no need to be sorry

I appreciate the questions actually. I am just not that quick right now.

Have fun at PR. I enjoyed the film a lot.

Landing gear

Hopefully this helps with placement of landing gear.

Very Nice Pic :)

Ok so the landing gear is not obstructed by the rear ramp and is like rt beside me from where I am at in the pic or maybe behind me?

Good flick huh. I like the look of it and the lead actor is one of my fav's from my favorite cable show the Sons of Anarchy.

I'll put up a review tonight of it and The Lone Ranger that I saw last week.

I read the post last night...

So, I've tried to put some thought into the actions. Unfortunately, chaos is chaos and fun will be fun. Giddy is out of town until Sunday, so he won't be able to post until then. I hope that isn't a problem.

Single shots...

Because Asher was using his scope he'd have to rifle on single shots. I was just wondering if he'd been able to resight and shoot again in the same round?

Picture him hitting the guard (provide the dice let him hit), guard staggers and then is hit again and then maybe again. That would push him away from Willow and draw attention. (who knows might even find a chink in the armor.)

I'd forgotten I wasn't going to be home tonight, so I snuck in the post. Folks thought I was working, they wondered why I was I talking Chinese.

squeaked out a post

Too pissed off at management to want to work all night again anyway

Reading through the posts, one of those small moments that can mean all the difference occurred to me.

Justin was trotting happily enough towards Dillon when Dillon calls him "Fiddle Man". I could just see this classically trained maestro losing his meekness at being called a fiddler

And by way, what a great post by Giddeon stepping into John's role like that!

Pardon my intrusion!

I know I don’t play in this game, but I do read it as the setting is most interesting.

But after reading Vanadia’s latest post, I had to respond.

Vanadia, are you a Aikidoka? Your description of the Sankyo technique is very good and the moves you describe should bring down someone in that case even if they are in armor. The technique puts such pressure on the elbow and shoulder that the armor protection is practically irrelevant.

Very nice combat post for a perceived non-threatening, delicate woman.

Bows to Archangel

You are too kind. While I have a great deal of respect for the martial arts, it is my mad google skills that came to play, here. Love wikipedia

And yes, Willow is a healer, a lover and a buddhist, but was getting a little tired of being the damsel in distress - I think Akido, which is equally concerned with the well-being of your opponent, was a good compromise for her gentle soul.

Big time news

Roger not sure if you know this or not I just found out myself tonight. I think you may have spoken of it before but I'm not sure but Firefly is coming online as an MMO type game. Here is the web address for anyone interested.

Okay. Here we go.

The ramp of the ship is 150 feet away from the action (give or take). A combat round is 3 seconds (not 6, my bad). You can move 15 feet per round as a single action. You can perform one action per round without penalty, -1 step for every additional action up to three, depending on how much time the action would take. Three shots with a rifle if not one is firing at you is possible. Dodge, fire, dodge again would be unlikely.

A step penalty is a reducing in the dice you use to make a successful action. Example: If you are shooting and have a d10 agility and a d10 skill but incur a -2 step penalty, he skill drops from d10 to d6. (d10-d8-d6).

The Machine Pistols that Wolf carries can fire single or burst. Max rate of fire is 3.
The Range would be 100 feet increments. That means short is 100 feet, medium is 200 and incurs a -2 step penalty, long is 300 and it incurs a -4.
Damage is d6 w

The JC does d8 w and the range is 150 feet increments, Shotgun part is d10W and 10 feet increments

Rate of fire for Asher – you can fire up to three times in this round, however, each additional shot incurs a -1 step penalty to ALL actions in the round.

Rear Ramp and landing gear – I hope the picture shows you what you need. Not sure what you were going for with that.

Well.....

Seeing that Val posted that she pulled on the guard that moves Asher's target. Asher fired when the guard pushed.

He would have normally sighted mid body (chest)to allow for max target. He would expect the guard to knock back from the impact and would be prepared to follow in the sights for a second shot. Now the tricky part is how Roger decides the action flows. The bullet impact on guard will effect direction of fall as will the Aikido move. The guard would be starting his lean and be in motion which cleared Willow enough for Asher to fire. I'd think that bullet impact and wrist twist happen at about the same instant. This improves Willows leverage on the guard and increases the effect of her move. Holding his arm impedes the backward motion but increases the body spin. That spin / twist should really open up Willow's target area for the pin prick. So that guy goes down and gets knocked out.

The percussion of Asher's shot would likely draw the attention of the prone guard causing him to look up to see where the shot came from. That hesitation giving Havelock a moment to dive on the guy and possibly prevent him from shooting.

Wyatt, your on your own, lol.

Assume makes a

Remember people are posting what they hope will happen. Not necessarily what does happen. Asher could miss. He could hit a by-stander. Reavers could drop from the sky on Asher. The helmet could come off guard to reveal a long lost love of Asher. Willow move could fail. She could get a extraordinary success. etc etc etc etc

So as I have said many times, post what you think will happen and I will tell you what will happen. I know the order of initiative now.
