Damn :(

Ok so no hover does her landing struts have wheels?? I'm looking to suggest we try to move her away from where she presently is into the Atmo Processor for a number of reasons I'll put in my post. However my original idea called for her to be at least able to hover. Is there any way to move her?

no wheels

No wheels and as I have mentioned before, she will not fit through the doorways of the Atmo Processor.

LOL

I was not worried about doors Roger that was the least of my worries.

Ok so non-movable gotcha. I guess then question B, what did the dead Merc's give us in terms of weapons, ammo, and gear.?

gear

Dillon: Machine Pistol (two clips), sidearm, ballistic vest, 100 credits in cash. Nice leather jacket (black) which is very similar to the ones Federal Marshalls wear.

Guards (2): Assault rifle (two clips), sidearm, Tactical armour similar to military issue, both have taken direct hits, helmets (useless now). 50 credits each.

Skills...........

Back a ways I'd posted that Ash or someone was getting a list of the passengers and any skills they had that might help the crew. Now would be a good time to see if we have anyone to help route cables and do metal work on the doors.

Asher could head the work crews for cables and doors as Wolf and John find the right stuff. Tess is most likely skilled enough to help too. All good pilots know a bunch about boats systems so they can switch things around to keep flying.

Wyatt, Ma and Sifu on crowd control and maybe moving some to the barracks in the Atmo Processor to keep them out from underfoot, the Lord could manage them. Keep the four geeks busy and away from the Atmo processor so they don't start messing things up there, like make them parts runners back and forth.

Use the bodyguard as Muscle to help Wolf and John with the BIG parts. I'd say just give Mr. Whitecoat his case so he lets his men help. That might make him more of and allie.

The other case is still safe as Jessie is the only one who knows where it is. That'll keep others from trying to steal it to bargain a way off the planet with Black Dragons.

As desperate move could a shuttle or both working together act as the other thruster to inch the Roc into hiding?

Just some ideas.

wrong crowd

There is no one among the crowd that would be of use to you as a work crew. These are all high society people who have never done a hard days work in their life. Even the physicists are theoretical, never done anything with actual engines and if you let them at your engine they might try to "improve" it.

Captain Havelock could help you in a fight, and has seen battle and was at Serenity Valley. Just need to get him ship shape again. Other than that, Lord Hood has been the most helpful of the passengers but admits he has little skills besides talking and wearing a sash.

So this is the sitc. You have 72 helpless passengers, one Fiddle that is mucho valuable, a broken ship, two shuttles, a hovermule, a series of caves in the nearby hills and a Atmo Processor building that was never build for defense. You have another case that looks the exact same with an unknown content right now. You have two passengers effected by some sort of mind control sex device that you have no idea where it came from.on top of all that, coming after you is a group of mercenaries that make reavers look tame.

Your advantages? Willows Looks, Asher's shot, John's brains Wyatt's cool and Wolf's strength.

Inventory........

Well at least that's better than only having:
Willows strength, Asher's brains, John's shot, Wyatt's Looks and Wolf's cool.

~sigh~

Ok gotta come up with a new plan .

Can you give us a rundown on the passengers involved in the fight like electric cane guy and his two bodyguards. Any other usable passengers other then them?? I mean any others who could possibly help us in the fight that's most likely coming.

Electric ave

Mathewson is the man in the White tux and electric cane as Tann so quaintly put it. He has two bodyguards called Hack and Slash. You can presume those are aliases.

Havelock fought the war and was the last officer standing in serenity valley.

Other than that, no. You are dealing with upper class socialites with no skills beyond running fund raisers and gossiping about who is sleeping with whom. You could arm them am give the the fundamentals ( this is a knife. Pointy end goes in bad guy) but I wouldn't expect thrilling heroics.

Jessie

Hold off on reacting to Jessie's post. There was a vital piece of information that the character had that I did not let Teller in on. I have sent her a PM so I think the post will change.

Ody beat me too it.

To go with Ody could our two shuttles have the power to lift the Rocinante and move her a mile to the Atmo Processor?

As for getting the liner passengers to work for us that's easy. See we just tell them about the merc's and what's coming and those that don't help get left behind to possibly die when we leave and those that do help get a flight out. Simple.

Wolf has no love for any of the liner passengers just the Rocinante crew and if it means we leave them all behind to die so be it.

Sorry Teller

Question

Did Wolf at any time see Jessica with the case in her hands during the whole time from space to landing to heading off with John??
