wait

I have not yet scanned my map. I don't have a scanner at home anymore so I have to remember to bring it in to work.

If I didn't make it clear, you are in no danger from the MC. Even if it were to lose total containment, you are shielded with Roc and the Dome.

What is this Kentucky thing?

If the Captain wants to invite the rest of the crew to brekkie he can. Trish will not come though.

No biggy...

...as far as the map goes, I was just wondering. I'm usually able to pick up a visual from your descriptions, anyway.

As to Lysk's "Kentucky" comments: In our neck of the woods Kentucky folk are stereotypically considered "inbred hillbillies" (e.g. the "bad guys" in Deliverance, Wrong Turn, etc) Instead of calling someone "redneck," "hilljack," "yukker," etc you simply wonder which holler in Kentucky they climbed out of.... Not that we really think that people from Kentucky are all like that, of course, but that seems to be the stereotype that floats around.

For those who want to post

The prospectors will come down to greet you, offering apologies for the mix up.

Jim Ryan is a very tall (6 feet) thin man, late 30's, blonde hair, brown eyes, no facial hair, dressed in denim overalls and a red flannel shirt - both stained with grease. He has an easy smile and twinkle in his eyes that makes him likeable, even attractive to the ladies (think Owen Wilson)

Sam Hawke is a shorter man (5'5") with black hair, brown eyes, moustache and beard. He also dresses in the flannel and overalls, but he is more mud covered than grease stained. He is a bit on the round side - but like a man who was in shape once but the easy life has created a spread around the waist. (think Richard Karn)

Kentucky...hehe

I'm just waiting to use a line that came to me on reading the first "lenny" post: Their family tree's a broomstick...no branches at all!

So, is Sung conveying the invitation to those of us on board? A chance of fresh veg is something Willow would not pass up....and Owen Wilson??? even yummier than maters

Not sure that it matters much, but...

...from where they're standing, can Wyatt and Sam hear the "conversation" between Ryan and Hawkes, at all, or just the "shouting parts"?

Like I said, I doubt their convo about the wave from Bailey will affect much but some of it might be "played upon".

Crazy nuts...

...would be the best way to describemy life this week.

I will not have the opportunity to post this week. Suffice it to say that Asher is glad his arm is fixed up, would strap on his pistols, would likely make some internal conversation about how he'll have to lead with his good hand when it comes down to a firefight, and eagerly look forward to some real breakfast ("Not that your cooking ain't good, Trish... you grill that paste up mighty fine. Just saying, well, bacon and eggs... well... you know I mean.").

Move the lad around as you see fit, Al. After Sunday, my schedule frees up some.

Thanks!

Blammm

Sure...

As far as Wyatt is concerned the danger isn't over yet. He's not keen on inviting Willow into the thick of it, and the rest of the crew is busy with their duties right now. If things go smooth (I think the timestamps Roger put out there for us put the conversation between Sam, Wyatt, and the prospectors quite a bit ahead of the docking ship) he'll be more than happy to have the whole of the crew join them for a homecooked meal. Right now, he's not being a selfish jerk, but is concerned about his crew's safety.

Continuing where we last left off.

In the game you have a half hour before the MC docks. Kora will only be finishing the wielding by then. Asher will be running down the causeway to caught up with Sam and Wyatt. Willow will be cleaning up and Trish will be baiting traps to catch a kitty. So the good captain has a point.

Paranoia is only good thinking when people are truly out to get you.

wheee... looking forward to my first gun battle...wheee

Now that I review

The timestamps mean that there's plenty of time for Eol and I to post some conversation bits with the prospectors before you all are done with your chores.

I'll try to post tonight.

I will do a short post tonight hopefully to get everyone to the homestead. So look in on the weekend if you want to post further, otherwise the MC lands on Sunday.
