I had to look the answer up as to the way I created them and found out that no they are not considered etheral as they are solid in nature. Hope that helps.

I would NOT kill him off. He;s been too much a part of the story and doing that would just be forced. See if you can recruit a new player that is able to keep Connall's past RP consistant. Otherwise, run him as an NPC or have him recalled to the King's side or some other reason. Have any new characters come in with a note and an escort from the king if need be.

To all those in Trilogy, both old and new, I am still alive and kicking and will be posting this week. Sorry for the LOOONNNNNNGGGGGGGGG absence, but real life just got in the way and threw me too many curve balls all at one time.

I look forward to getting back into the swing of things and to leading the group once more... But you'd think after my extended absence that you could have gotten further than the same combat which had started in December...

As for still fighting this battle you have to remember that the game took a 4 week break over the Christmas and New Years holiday and really did not restart until the 2nd week of January. And also as is the nature of a one post a week game it at times runs slowly so please blame not the players but I the DM

As for Conall he will be no problem as I am working out the details with another player who it looks like will take him over soon. If for some reason he does not I will just keep looking.

As for new characters we do have one in the game as we speak who replaced Af'til her name is Rayne and her stats and info are posted on the character Thread.

Ok just a heads up on what’s to be found here in the river City of Star Falls.
There are 3 Inns: The Wayfarers Friend, The Twin Towers and the main one The Star Falls Inn and Eatery
There is 1 Bordello: Dwarves & Babes.
There is a large casino just across the river from the main city area: The Golden Mines.
There is 1 duel/combat arena: Simply Combat.
There is a town Oracle & Wizard.
There is a Temple of Healing
A separate higher class Stable then those associated with the Inns.
There are the following main shops: 1 Alchemist, 1 Metal smith, 2 Misc Leather Goods, Johnny Boys Canoes, and Exotic Delights
There are of course smaller stands in the center of town selling various items from food to misc weapons, clothing and so on.
Though the town is run by a dwarven Mayor and has a good sized Dwarf population it is mostly human with a scattering of Elves, a few Halflings, and 1 or 2 of the other races.

There you have the info you need to know on this City hope it helps.

Hey There DM for whenever we may have been able to sleep and recover

our spells Ulthok will do the following.He will drop the 4th level

spell Rary's Enhancer and have only 8 first level spells again.He will

pick the following for each level.

Level 1: Burning Hands x2/Magic missle x4/Shocking Grasp x2
Level 2: Melf's Acid Arrow x2/Mirror Image/Rope Trick x2/Spectral Hand/Summon Swarm x2
Level 3: Fire Ball x2/Lighting Bolt/Vampiric Touch
Level 4: Polymorph Self/Monster Summoning 2/Wall of Ice
Level 5: Cone of Cold/Monster summoning 3/Summon Shadow

Tann it looks to me like my fourth level spell Monster Summoning 3 is

missing from my list between cone of cold and summon shadow the two

Dragonmist if you remember you cast that spell on the first round of combat vs the Tormented souls.
My Boo Boo was that after the Bless spells were cast I totally forgot the two Spiders that you had summoned were still there.

I guess they went off to hunt until the spell ended

But why are you droping you Enhancer spell that just seems so not Ulthok somehow :-/

Would Magma know anything about the Dwarven city ahead. Common knowledge among dwarves like who rules there, what are the general rules, fortification and the bawdy shops with the best of short bearded women?

Well no matter who actully said it it is a good rule to live by.I for one Sir Kyle am glad to see you back as one of the original trillogy players.You know I would hope by now that we would all know that what is said and done in the game is just that, said and done IN THE GAME it is not a personal attack against the player.That said I (real name) Mark (aka) Dragonmist (game name) Ulthok are real glad to welcome you back into our family, so lets follow our montra and

As to what Dragonmist said above. Kyle you and I have been friends for many years now but sadly in the last year and a half we seem to have drifted apart. Your fault, my fault, no bodies fault, it just is. As such its nice to have you back so at least we can still share this game.

AS to your Question Alacrity yes you know a little about the town as your homeland is Erebor.
First the town mayor is a dwarf by the name of Shielder Ironfist
The towns small Milita is commanded by a Human by the name of Iven Dickel and is a company in strength (30 Troopers) consisting of 1 squad Dwarven Axes, 2 Squads Human Infantry and 1 squad of Archer/Scouts. Mostly they act as the towns police and National Guard in emergancies.
Though its a major city it is not fortified with walls or any real defenses but its close enough to other cities with large Regimental size units to gain aid if needed fast.
The Casino is run by a Halfling and his human wife but you do not know thier names as they only recently took it over. But what you do know is that the games are magically protected from cheating by both players and employess and that the Casino has 4 Mages on duty to keep it so. Also, gossup says that the new Halfling owner brought his own Sec force with him and they are 6' feet tall Turtle like creatures weighing easily 500 pounds, walk upright and speak Common. Elf and Dwarven and seem highly intelligent.

As for the Bordello, gossup from other dwarves you know, says that Dwarves & Babes supposedly not only caters to Humans and Elves but also Dwarves.
As you have never been here before that is still only gossup but as its open 24 hours its easy for you to find out.

Ok everyone just wanted to let you know as I am busy packing up my Apt to move out of it at the end of March My posts may be a bit short on Wednesdays but I will still post in regards to your actions so please do not stop posting and please bear with any possible mistakes on my part.

Now on to the next matter as we do have a small change...

Eol has felt somewhat uncomfortable in playing Cor since he took over the character and so has decided to drop him but thankfully stay in the game (of course after I threatened to hunt him down and torture him ) and bring in a new character shortly. As such I will be NPCing Cor until I write him out of the game without killing him, I have plans for him in the future of the Game. So bear with us and we will be good to go.
