Is there any response from Odin to my augury spell? Hoping to share with the party before we "rest and prepare spells".

Should I move it forward or wait on you guys to come up with a clear plan as I do not want to move ahead before you guys are ready.

SInce I no longer had second edition books Ined to know what speels especially offense and defensive spells are available to my 10 level clericm and 9 level Ranger.

Ok spell list is on its way for cleric.
As for Ranger she is only allowed Spells from All, Animal or Plant sphere's

Also just a side note on Cor's raise dead plan for Divot. You do realize your talking of killing an actively posting player rt, keeping him totally out of the battle till its end in the hopes you can win and raise him without problems.

What if he is the key to victory in what clearly by your posts is an upcoming battle. Just because Odin says some will die fate is not a consent its ever changing please remember that

Okay is there anytime for Rayne to create some scrolls. or is there anyplace to purchase them.

Though there is a lone Cleric and some minor clergy at the temple for him to create one would take most of the day.
For you it would be quicker but still not before the parties meeting with the magistrate.
As far as Cleric scrolls no none for sale.

Ahh what I would give for 3.5's Divine Favor. At my level I could give 6 in the party +3 to hit and +3 to damage.

awe man what a bummer sorry Brie no 3.5 here. In all honesty I dislike 3.5 as I have no clue about it and even in Paradyse I find myself confused more often then I care to admit. The combat totally confuses me so I just go with the flow so to speak .

If we can change the future then there is no reason for the augury spell. Yes I realize my plan includes killing a bound and helpless person who is unlikely to be able to fight. As Cor sees it he is already dead, only the time that the evil ones take his life and the manner they do it is unknown. Just one view.

We have little choice as Alasdair is the one who deceided we must go in and as he is an NPC that means the DM has deceided we must go in.

Alasdair decided HE was going in, he did not order any of you to go. He asked if any would join him of thier own free will and not by his command.
Pretty much its up to each player weither they follow him into the Bordello or stay behind. Staying behind does not put a player out of the game just not in the Bordello.
I can run two parties one in and one out of the building if need be.

But thank you Keeper for helping me prove what I have said before, the party truly needs a player leader. In that way I as DM when playing Alasdair or another NPC don't fall into the role of pushing the players to do something they do not want to do.

But no worries it will all work out one way or another Muhahahahahaha

3.5 is the best verwsion yet still has a lot of problems but more with roleplayability and the magtic system. which I always change to a magic pool and mages can use any of their spells until their pool runs out. I keep on drawing the comparision of a fighter that has a woepon he can only use once and then it is gonem and unless her takes a second sword he needs to uses something else. That is the way they do magic All the versions, I hate that aspect of all versions. I can see Gandalf is his fight with Sauron saying sorry no more fifth level spells guess I have to use somethign smaller--or oops I didn't take that spell for today. .
