Ok
Well as it sometimes goes we gain a player then lose one as such Lexson has decided to drop out of Trilogy. Due to playing full time in two table top games, looking for a new job, spending time with her Fiancé, and playing alongside me on IMVU she has too much going on. So please wish her well and keep good thoughts of her in your minds.
OK that puts me once again in the position of do I recruit a new player or not. Right now we are at 9 active players, 8 Active characters, 1 Active Familiar, and again 2 NPC's.
Sounds like alot huh but time has proven differently, and honestly I'm very undecided withier to recruit or not.
So I'm gonna leave it up to you to help me decide if I recruit or not just give me your thoughts or just a Yes: recruit or NO: Stay as we are............

my vote
Maybe it is time to kill off the NPCs and keep all characters controled by active players. Recruit if you want but have them bring in new character; great time for it as we are at a major city area.

Fairly neutral too
Firstly, welcome back KingRat!
I'm with Keeper. We have a lot of active players as it is, and it isn't absolutely essential for someone to come in. But, if some people do want to join, then it would seem a good point to have the NPCs drift away (such as after this mission).

clarification
Get rid of NPCs. Then recruit folks with new characters if you want but don't have new folks play old characters.

NPC's.....
Tann, if you like playing and want to be an NPC then you should do that. If not then when we get back then they can wander off.
With this many high powered badies we really could use having Maggot back or another 11+ level wizard. So I'd like to see you recruit a magic user similar to Maggot as an fighting wizard.

So many choices...
From the sound of the situation, we have multiple options available to us...
1. entire party removes the disguise, part of the party moves to assist Syrene so that she is not taking the entire attack of the enemy forces, while the others immediately move to target the trebuchets, moving as quickly as possible, while those who moved to assist Syrene, whether they saved her or not, would move to engage the enemy forces to keep them off of the team working on the targets.
2.Same as #1 except the team that goes after the targets would not release their disguises, but instead would use them to sneak through the enemy forces, and preferably destroy the machines without giving themselves away, while the team that moves to assist Syrene as planned in #1
3. Use the disguises to sneak up and start both taking out the targets and using the disguises to kill the enemy forces without them seeing the party coming to them, trying to make them think that they are getting reinforcements but in truth its a massacre of the enemy forces
each of these plans has intermixable parts that would be effect with each other, though i strongly believe we should assist syrene and some should drop their disguise to pull some of the attention off of syrene, she may not have alot of health at the end but she will be alive if the team acts quickly enough, such as if its possible that the rangers both attack the mage with arrows, or other distance type attacks while closing the distance to him and the other troops and then engage them on a forefront while the other party moves assist them and/or go to destroy the targets.

the plan take 2
Perhaps a good old fashioned back stab is in order for the black robe. Once Ulthok abd Valene cast their spells to destroy the first two trubechets they can focus on the black robe. Looking like kobolds might let them get close without drawing attention.
One bonus to this party is that dying is a temporary setback not a final outcome.

Ok player news
Last night VivianEverBloom informed me she has to take a Leave of Absense for a few weeks up to a month or two due to school, work, parents, traveling and other RL stuff. She does want to return after this hectic patch slows down, so as I did with Ginafae she will be listed as ON LEAVE but still in the game.
Ody until she returns to the game Peri of course is yours to NPC use her well my friend.
So now I'm only waiting on Mischief, Eclipse and KingRat to post. If I get two out of 3 I will do so.
Also in answer to Odyson yeah I hear ya, another high powered character Mage or other could be a good thing, however Maggot will not be coming back.
Lets see how it goes maybe I'll recruit 1 new character.

Peri....
Ok, I'll do a bit of an edit to blend in Peri.
------------------------------
Ok, the edit is done, I hope Viv approves.
-------------------------------
Peri's spell should start to effect the Black Robe and the Koblds before they start thier second attack on Sirene. It should break their concentration effecting the archers aim and then both the other as they start to laugh. Hopefully the Black Robe won't be able to cast in the 3rd attack.

~Sigh~
Ok due to real life commitments, birthdays, and 4 kids Mischief and Eclipse have this week informed me they both need to drop Trilogy till possibly a later date.
So as of right now we are down to 6 players, 5 if I do not hear anything from KingRat or see a post by him till Sunday. Sooo I will be posting this Sunday a wrap up of the current combat situation in one post. This will allow me to get the party back to the fortress and into a non-combat time frame once more to allow for player recruitment.
Thanks for understanding and please wish Mischief and Eclipse safe journeys till next we may meet

I have been innundated by real life and cannot continue in Trilogy at this time. I am so sorry I cannot continue playing. I have enjoyed playing but I am forced to quit. I wish everyone the best and you have my deepest gratitude for allowing me to enter your world and enjoy your company.
