Leave it to the Paladin to be picky.....
Seems to be a Palaadin thing to have a lack of imagination, lol.
So is this better.
Sir was going to post the action with Aryn so it should be up soon.

Not Picky
I consider it an attention to details.
Anywho, looks good now. Considering we get out of the room safely, I will deal with Jessica's response to Cor's offer after the update.

An Ingangeer Thing......
As an IE myself the picture is worth an bunch of words.
As with most CONCEPT drawings there are final revisions needed to for final construction.

I would like to point out
Jessica would never have walked off and left Amara there among the Goblins. She would have approached her and made sure that everyone made it out of the room.

Explanation Teller
Ok before this gets out of hand the whole point of Amara's death was honestly to shock you and all the other players.
Silent came to me 2 weeks ago telling me she could not keep up with the game and she wanted to drop out. After talking with her for an hour or so we both decided it was for the best if she did so. However she asked one favor of me and that was to kill off Amara in a very gory way. So I respected her wishes and did so. The idea for one of the Goblin children to attack and rip out her throat came from Kyle yesterday afternoon while we sat together watching Football.
As far as leaving her behind alone you did not as Aliya and Lothor were still in the area with her. She was not alone per say so Jessica has nothing to feel guilty about. Angry that Amara is dead yes guilty no. However I will not tell you how to play Jessica as I am only the DM so if you decide as you stated in your PM not to accept the Holy Avenger that is your call. It will just go back into Cor's Bag of Holding..

Understood
I understand what you are saying; but if Jessica would have seen what Amara was doing she might have stood by her there and maybe warned her about getting too close. It might have helped if we had warning that you were going to purposely eliminate a character that was no longer going to be played.
In any case, Jessica still might feel guilty about letting down her guard and allowing one of the group die so horribly. Will see how this whole thing works out in the end; if too many people get hurt she might feel she is not worthy of the sword that Cor is offering her. We will see.

That was the point
Her and I agreed not to tell anyone what was coming in advance to enhance the player shock. I had a few other PM's asking WTF before I posted here in the Q/A so it clearly had it's intended effect.

A bit of time
Tan I know you feel you must keep on a time schedule but…
With the death of one of our own, the offering of such a great gift and valued weapon, and the possible guilt and possible reluctance to except such an offering this might give a week or two of really good role playing and party bonding.
Just a thought.

To Clarify
I knew that he was killing Amara off. This game is just.. too much and too heavy for me to be in. Sorry for all the shock factor.. We thought it would be best

roll with the punches... and kicks
shocking is defiantly accurate. but good art imitates life.
now we have to regroup and press on.
each of our characters will mourn in their own way and change for better/worse because of the loss.
but in that we can grow our characters and add to the wonderful and chaotic story/life in trilogy.

Shocking
And perhaps one day it will be the flash of a dagger blade that will find the unshielded soft spot of our enemy and one of us will shock the reader.
Oh how we live for just a moment of glory in the flash of an eye. That we may whisper the word, 'Go.' into the face of evil.

Very possible Kyle
That can be easily done if the rest of the players want me to delay a post for an extra week.
Thanks again for helping me create the shock factor oh Lord of the Cajun's
